Fiscal Insanity!

Other than Paul Ryan nobody is thinking outside the box. If the U.S. government defaults on it's debt the economy will come to grinding halt. No grease and the wheels stop turning. Mark Levin's idea of a constitutional ammendment that only allows the federal budget to be a set percentage of GDP would go a long way towards fixing our problem. J.B. Williams is spot on here: Democrats are forcing a so-called shutdown in their effort to keep spending money we don't have. Republicans are calling for only a symbolic level of spending cuts. Nobody in Washington, D.C. seems serious about ending the fiscal insanity. SHUT IT DOWN!

Yes, shut it down. While the Republicans will blame in on the Democrats, it is the Tea-baggers screaming "shut it down." The American people will know who to blame. God you people are stupid. Go ahead, shut it down. Please.

as is my policy I will only address gary once.

I hope the country does realize who is responsible and it is the Tea Party!!

Yes, you are right: if the government is shut down the Tea Party will be responsible, making them even more unpopular than they are now.

Not huge enough in my opinion. The deems had almost a year with control of all 3 branches to pass a budget but didn't because it was an election year and they KNEW the American people would be outraged by the spending. I think we let them off the hook. Let's see if we can hold up on the debt ceiling.....
