The end is nigh as a result of human over-consumption -- so lets throw a party, or in this case fly dozens of rock stars and their entourage across the globe in private jets to save the planet by singing kumbaya at the LiveEarth concert series.
I actually have no further comment as the hypocrisy speaks for itself. I would just like to know where do I signup for the free tickets....

so you want to party like it's 1999?
No. I want to pary like its 2007.
First of all as history has shown us these concerts do next to nothing about solving the problems they address... well that is besides make some people alot of money, alleviate the guilt of the elites, generate tremendous amount of good publicity for those involved all the while charging the sheep in attendance ten dollars for a bottle of water -- to make a difference.
But lets ignore all that for a moment. Its dificult for me to take them seriously about mans impact on the enviroment as they take a big carbon dump on the planet.
I would think they were more sincere if they were actually coming up with real ideas and solutions besides taxing industry and throwing concerts, and about the concert...
Just one idea...
If global warming is such a problem then wouldnt it make more sense to have local video crews film each artist at their homes and broadcast their accoustic performance live over the internet and stream it on big screens in town centers around the world????
...and dont forget the recycled bio-degradable toilet paper so that I can wipe my ass of this bullshit without killing the rainforest.
you keep saying you have nothing left to say on this topic, but then you keep saying, and saying, and saying and saying and saying ...
you're like the energizer donkey.
Yes, Anita I agree that Donkey has become fixated on global warming.
Since Donkey prefers to believe a minority of fringe scientists over the scientific consensus, I suggest that he consider geocentricism. I refer him to www.geocentricity.com, created by an actual astronomer who challenges the "politically correct" view that the Earth moves around the sun.He also does not believe in evolution, so clearly he is a scientist after Donkey's heart.
I am all for it, the warmer it gets, the less i need to think about buying a soler pool heater. i just wish we could speed it up a bit, spring is almost here.
So your response to my post that the ecovangelist alarmists are full of shit by staging a massive resources consuming rock concert to get out the "message" of global warming is that I dont believe in evolution????
That tells me two things...
1. You know your side is full of shit
2. You are full of shit
hey, don't generalize about "sides" ... MY response was that you sound like the energizer donkey.
and that you are full of sh*t.
except i forgot to say the last part.
Your views on evolution are relevant to the extent that they show a lack of critical thinking and understanding of the scientific method. It's like if someone says that the moon landings were a a hoax, that would make me skeptical of their views on other subjects.
