Yeah That's The Ticket

Although I can say with ninety percent certainty that I am not the father of Anna Nicole's daughter I am not prepared at this time to deny rumors that if named as Speaker Gingrich's running mate that I would accept such an honor, although let it be known that Donkey plays second fiddle to no man, well that is unless of course its during a seisun at Jack Dempseys and the group is playing anything besides the four songs I know.

I recently had the opportunity to see Newt give a speech at the Women's Republican Club of New York City. Its the first time Ive ever attended a function there as -- number one I am not a woman and therefore not a member, secondly despite the grays I am not quite ready to play in the senior circuit just yet but most importantly they have a tendency to not offer open bar at their events.

That being said I made an exception this past Thursday as I am a big fan of Speaker Gingrich and as can probably be surmised from my glassy goggles, had about a half dozen lagers down the gullet already courtesy of The Galway Hooker. Of course that didn't stop me from further imbibing and it was a privilege to offer Newt a drink compliments of The Aurora (turns out he is in fact a reader). There are only a handful of exceptions allowing a man to buy another man a drink -- being the architect of the Contract With America is one of them.

As Newt explained when asked if he was running, his opinion is that all this presidential election jibber jabber so far out is counter productive as the only talk occurring is of candidacies and not solutions or ideas, and I tend to agree. None of the main candidates are really discussing what they'll do or why they are most qualified but seems to me busy running away from who they are and what they've done in the past to redefine themselves accordingly to current polling data.

Ok let me get this straight...Hillary is now against the war, Obama isn't a crackhead, Rudy isn't a fag hag and McCain is a conservative again. Can we get to the issues now...

Newt is still Newt and the only one putting forth any real plans for our country's future (I highly recommend subscribing to his newsletter, which can be done by clicking on either of our giant irish noggins in the above picture), and if being articulate is a pre-requisite...then my man Newt has got it covered as he gives one hell of a speech.

I understand that The Aurora is currently endorsing Rep Duncan Hunter and without question he is the best man for the job currently in the race, but if and when Speaker Gingrich enters the race ....we may have to re-evaluate our endorsement, but Id have no problem with a Gingrich / Hunter ticket and would graciously step aside to accommodate it...just so long as that offer of the Ambassadorship to Brazil is still on the table -- I'm gonna hold you to it Mr Speaker.

EE-Aw!!!

I guess that was a wide angle lens to fit both of those giant domes in one frame! Holy crap! What's that guys hat size? 90?

On a personal level I agree completely SacV and have personally benefitted with the ladies living in Manhattan by the number of gays offsetting the odds, not to mention all the metrosexuals that made me look like a champ by comparison.

My problem lies with the pink mafia political attack machine that preaches hate at the same time they demand acceptance and tolerance of the gay lifestyle.

However my point wasnt to condemn or condone the gay lifestyle but point out how Rudy as a candidate is running from his socially liberal positions to woo the conservative base. The Aurora loved Rudy as mayor -- hell we still love the guy....just not as President.

...and Rhino you pea brained beetlejuice jackass. The extra large domeage is needed to house the extra large grey matter inside.

As the Kids In The Hall would say...

Im crushing your head!

But...why does Newt have a different color behind his eyeglasses and a black outline against the red background? Does he have a black aura? Not that this would surprise me.

How did Newt discover your blog?

Does he...google himself?

Kind of weird that he wouldn't be a bit busy for the "internets".

In another unrelated note, the word Craic is Irish for "fun". That used to jump into my head reading Craic-head's blog. Funhead.

Yes the craic can mean fun...

...but the craic can also be bad and very unfunlike.

There are many uses and meanings depending on how and where it is used, and whether its in the form of a question or statement... but I can personally attest that Craic-head is indeed good craic and that the craic is always ninety at his St Paddys parties...well that is until someone's door gets kicked in.

Let me respond to Anita concern about the photo being PhotoShopped: I have PhotoShopped many pictures and my studied opinion is that this one is not an altered photo. And I base that conclusion primarily on the fact that no one would actually go to the trouble of putting themselves in a photo with Newt Gingrich. My gawd it’s hard to imagine anyone wanting a real picture of themselves with Newt

You fail to take into consideration that perhaps it was Newt that did the photoshopping...

....stay tuned for pictures from tonights Fat Tuesday Pancake Dinner with Justice Antonin Scalia.

Dude violated your gag order on photo use-you better have your lawyers call his people.

I already had shirts made before I saw your fine print...

Fortunately I am hoping the "reasonable person" legal standard of fine print interpretation saves my profits.

They're selling, baby!
