Gary, thanks for clearing that up, however maybe you should have read the whole article. It's even WORSE than i thought. Gore doesn't even buy carbon offsets for his private jet or his home etc. HIS TAX EXEMPT COMPANY BUYS THEM FOR HIM. It doesn't even come out of his pocket!!!!! It's all a scam!!!!

So Al Gore makes an undetermined amount of money from this company. Some of the money from the company goes to purchase carbon offsets for its employees. I fail to see a problem here.
No problem gary except that the guy wants to guilt the world into living differently, founds a company that allows rich people to live the way they want without feeling guilty, and then doesn't even pay for his own carbon offsets but gets them paid for by the afore mentioned TAX EXEMPT company!
It's like telling everyone else to walk to work while you're driving the company car!
