There's an old movie called "Butterflies Are Free". Ill be honest I cant really tell you what it was about except that a young Goldie Hawn was in her bra and panties pretty much for the entire movie. What's my point? Well I don't really have one, just wanted to put forth the visual of a young Goldie Hawn in her bra and panties, a visual that should be noted that as a teen -- served me well during those cold Upstate winters; who am I kidding -- they served me well during those cold Upstate summers as well.
Considering that I was born in the Burbank Community Hospital, I would have been remiss to not take her advice and "sock it to myself" if you catch my drift.
Now how's that for a visual.
Well if they remade the movie today, the title would be "Celebs And Libs Go Free", for when was the last time you can remember either that were convicted of a crime? They all walk. Martha doesn't count because although she might be a lib and a celeb, her crime involved the evil stock market which trumps them all.
Kill a white woman and jewish dude... have a nice day
Molest a child... can I get an autograph
Get caught with 90k of marked bribe money in your freezer....
Kill your mistress....
Run a gay underage brothel.....
Drunk drive down a one way street....
....Welcome to the Democratic Caucus (and/or the Kennedy Clan)
I can remember the one time that I was called for jury duty. I could hear my number being scratched off by the defense before I even sat down at the same time the saliva of the prosecutor was flooding the courtroom floor.
I was fortunate enough to have been involved in a knife fight (twas just a flesh wound) back when I was a wild colonial boy as the case involved a stabbing so I was immediately dismissed (with half a sawbuck in my pocket for my time)
It wouldn't have mattered anyways as anyone that's ever served knows its the riff raff that are unable or unwilling to get out of it. I know riff raff, riff raff was a good friend of mine, donkey you are no riff raff.
but....
The jury system is not flawed, the values system of America is flawed. Make a billion dollars in Hollywood and you're a hero, but don't you dare earn a million bucks on Wall Street because you must have did so at the expense of the poor and the oppressed you capitalist pig... now give it back so we can create a larger welfare state.
Scooter was found guilty because Tim Russert (a lib and a celeb) was found to have been more credible (of course he was, hes on TV). He was found guilty of having a bad memory. Now don't get me wrong. Scooter called Joe Wilson out, he intentionally emasculated him by pointing out that it was his wife that sent him to Niger for groceries. He did not blow Plame's cover as she was not a noc, nor was she in the past five years. Her role with the CIA was an open secret in Washington (and the cover of Vanity Fair) I will even go so far to admit that there's no doubt the orders came from the top, and that Cheney barked them... but once again no crime was committed.
Today's ruling was a travesty...but came as no great surprise. My legal advice to any conservative out there awaiting trial is simple; hire an agent, get some head shots taken and most importantly.... get thee to a reality show and register as a democrat.
EE-Aw!

I don't think you really know riff raff. Got another pic?
If most celebrities are liberal to center, it would make sense that most celebs that walk are liberal to center. But they walk because they are celebrities not because of politics.
I dont think though that numbers bear out your premise of wall street criminals being thrown in jail more than celebrities.
Can you cite a bar graph?
Do we ever really know riff raff....
Where are my socks?
Valerie Plame's status as a CIA officer was classified at the time she was outed. Although she was serving at CIA HQ at the time she still met the definition of an NOC because she had taken trips overseas in 2001-3, as a representative of Brewster-Jennings, her cover company.
Not only was Plame outed but so was her cover company, and anyone else who may have used it as a cover. We know now that Plame was working in counterproliferation on WMDs, probably in unfriendly countries. Undoubtedly, anyone she spoke to, or recruited, came to the attention of the intelligence services of those countries. Not having read the top secret CIA damage report, I do not know if any of those people were arrested or killed.
Saying she was not undercover and that no crime was committed is a lie. The real crime is that Rove and Cheney walked.
Why Rove or Cheney? Because you dont like them? Thats not a reason Gary. Youre hatred betrays you.
Richard Armitage was the source, not Scooter, not Rove, not Cheney.
Try to deal in facts not feelings.
Oh, Armitage was the source? Robert Novak's original column said he had TWO sources. Who was the other one?
Ask Fitzgerald. He probably gave them immunity. But we know it wasnt Scooter, Rove or Cheney despite what Olbermann tells you.
I don't think we know that. Clearly though Cheney was behind the entire effort to discredit Joseph Wilson. The Wilsons did add Armitage to their civil suit. I notice that you do not dispute my statement that Plame was an NOC.
I actually don't watch Olbermann, although I saw a couple of clips on the net.
Plame was not a noc, and it is Cheney's right to discredit the proven liar Wilson, although I think he did a good enough job of that all by himself.
But Plame was an NOC. The CIA says she was. Larry Johnson, a former CIA analyst who was in Plame's class at the CIA says she was. The judge in the case said she was. I wouldn't have said it if I couldn't back it up.
You don't think that everyone Plame or any other Brewster-Jennings "employee" ever met overseas was investigated by the intelligence agencies of those countries?
If it happend in the Clinton administration you would be talking treason.
Common sense dictates that I dont believe that the revelation of her identity would endager lives.
Certainly if it did, she would never in good conscience appear on Larry King or the cover of Vanity Fair would she?
She kept a very low profile BEFORE she was outed for political reasons.
You might be interested in the long article by one of the jurors over at the Huffington Post. One quote:
"Novak was the first to out Mrs. Wilson. In his July 14 syndicated column he called her an "agency operative on weapons of mass destruction." ("I refer probably too much to people as 'operatives.'") He was given that information by Karl Rove and the State Department's Richard Armitage."
Karl Rove was the second source.
Another interesting quote:
Robert Richer, former No. 2 in the CIA's clandestine service.
"Someone made a conscious decision to disclose the identity of an operative working undercover," Richer says. "And I think that they should be held accountable. It is a criminal offense."

The dems hate successful people, because they can't stand, the drag yourself up by your bootstraps ideal, because it messes with their view of the downtrodden and helpless poor, who are supposed to need liberals to save them. Martha Stewart's dad was lower middle class, some Polish catholic transit cop or something, but now she's rich (through her own hard work) so they hate her. They just hate the average east coast conservative look of her. I work around all liberals and every single one of them thinks Martha was born rich and deserved what she got for that very reason. Most of them don't even know what she got a jail term for, they just love it when business people go to jail for any reason. They also hate her in the way they hate Norman Rockwell, because he portrayed average Americans, whom the libs despise. Martha appealed to housewives and stay at home "soccer" moms, the epitome of all that is evil to the left. Liberals never really explore much past their incorrect assumptions.
