The American people have not lost confidence in our armes forces, as she says. We have lost confidence in their civilian leadership, particularly the Moron-in-Chief.
It's not the "moron-in-chief" that's the problem. The problem is our spineless legislature, particularly the Senate. I can understand a two year term House member having to cater to the whims of the electorate - hell, that's why they're called Representatives. The Senate, on the other hand, was intended to be independent of that. That's why they get six year terms, and initially were not elected by voters, but were appointed by the states.
The other problem is people like you that belittle the office of PotUS, and by extension our Country, with your trite name calling.
Well, Dave, I do show respect for our rightful President, Al Gore.
