I Can Name That Policy In One Note

Although Ive been known to have a problem with the media's portrayal of round numbers in the past, I will post this article anyways because for some reason it cracked me up.

Maybe its because I can actually remember my man Newt with the ice bucket or because the dems are already tripping over themselves like fricknfrackian jackasses.

`First 100 Hours' Won't Help House Democrats'

By Andrew Ferguson

Jan. 10 (Bloomberg) --

I defer to no one when it comes to appreciating the decimal numerical system and its many blessings, such as the penny, the dime, Big Ten college basketball and Hollywood's always-enjoyable ``Night of 100 Stars.''

But I also believe that 10-based numbering can be overdone - - as the new Democratic majority in the U.S. House of Representatives is busy proving with its self-inflicted 100-hour agenda.

Followers of Franklin D. Roosevelt flirted with disaster in 1933 when they used the term ``100 Days'' to advertise the New Deal program their leader rammed through Congress during his opening months in office. For one thing, it carried hints of Napoleon's ``Hundred Days'' campaign, which ended with Waterloo.
