I have long accused liberal democrats of practicing a politics of empty catchphrase ideology and likewise The Aurora have had charges leveled against us that we are flag waving slogan wielding demagogues and that may very well be true. Whereas the liberal democrat consider alqaeda and the like to be freedom fighters and modern day minutemen who need a hug and understanding.
The Aurora knows them as evil terrorists that must be killed.
Whereas the liberal democrat think President Bush is a fucktarded nazi.
The Aurora understands that Bush is but a man and therefore not infallible however we believe he is doing his best to serve and protect our Country and although in disagreement on many issues (build the wall biotch) we give him our full support.
Whereas the liberal democrat says Bush lied.
The Aurora agrees with the worlds intelligence community's consensus that Saddam was in fact attempting to acquire weaponry to cause maximum damage to his enemies regardless of what Mr Valerie Plame thinks he overheard at afternoon tea in Niger.
Whereas the liberal democrat cry that this was an illegal reckless rush to war.
The Aurora understands the facts that dispute this and that Saddam Hussein is solely and squarely to blame. That he repeatedly violated UN Resolutions both during the current as well as the prior administration and only after prolonged and failed peaceful negotiations and unanimous UN approval and overwhelming Congressional support did we resort to a military solution.
Whereas the liberal democrat worships Cindy Sheehan.
The Aurora are deeply indebted and thankful for the sacrifice that brave men and women such as Army Spc. Casey Sheehan make daily inside and out of Iraq that enable knuckleheads such as us to live as free men safe from foreign aggression.
Whereas the liberal democrat bitch and moan about redeployment and phased withdrawal.

Third, Bush lied. Read the fucking Downing Street memo.The "facts" were fixed around the policy. Not everyone thought Saddam had WMDs. The weapons inspectors didn't.WMDs were only a pretext in any event.
Forth, since Bush's plan has no chance of working, almost any other plan would be better.We need to negotiate with everyone except Al Qaeda. We need to begin to reduce the number of troops. We're fucked in Iraq. It's not the liberals fault--it's Bush's fault.

The whole downing street memo, If it's not completely bullshit, is controversial because of ONE MANS OPINION that the U.S. was fixing the intelligence to justify the war.
The head of the british intelligence service thought we should give the U.N. more time, even though we had 19 resolutions already.
The other "controversial" peice seems to be the accusation that Bush had made up his mind to go remove saddam before he got the approval of congress and to that i would say..... so? was he supposed to ask congress if maybe if he decided at some time in the future, could he possibly, if it seemed like a convenient time,and it wasn't going to ruin their lunch schedule, and we could guarantee a victory in 2 weeks with no casualties sort of maybe invade Iraq?
