John Conyers, son of a leftist Detroit union activist, represents the largest Arab population in the country. His district includes Dearborn, Mich., nicknamed "Dearbornistan" by locals fed up with cultural encroachment and terror fears from a steady influx of Mideast immigrants.
Conyers, who runs an Arabic version of his official Web site, does the bidding of these new constituents and the militant Islamist activists who feed off them. They want to kill the Patriot Act and prevent the FBI from profiling Muslim suspects in terror investigations. They also want to end the use of undisclosed evidence against suspected Arab terrorists in deportation proceedings.
And the 77-year-old Conyers has vowed to deliver those changes for them.

One, we are not paranoid, but i do think the fear is justified. We also do not fear ARABS in general and in fact i'm running for president db showbray's fan club (whisper of madness)
However, i do believe that there are people inside and outside this country that would like to see us destroyed (ref. 9/11 etc) and they happen to be Arab/Muslim.
Ridiculous? I think it's ridiculous that you can watch over 3000 of your fellow citizens die a fiery death and not realize that the tools we need to prevent it from happening again will be eliminated if we repeal the Patriot act. Remember ABLE DANGER?
I think it is ridiculous that you can watch 150,000 people killed without clear justification and due to our direct intervention. It never brought back our fellow citizens and more killing never will. I think we've switched places with the terrorists from time to time. Iraq would make a good illustration. How is it that all this killing is making the US safer again?? How is it that all this killing commemorates the innocent American's killed that day? Yes, that horrible and sad day...which you and all war-fanatics pander to provide justification for the unjustifiable.
Oh...if they could speak...all of them...all the dead. Theirs and ours...what would they say, I wonder.
They would probably call us idiots...unable to rise above trenches. Eye-for-eye reduction of humanity, which has never proven to be a worthy concept. Because humanity is handed to those who have power or are 'brave enough' to seek it.

one, the point of this story was HOMELAND defense, and the scary thought of not being able to watch/investigate the people who could be a problem for us. You might think that's paranoia, but maybe you should see what's going on in France right now with all the muslims who settled there but didn't assimilate and aren't loyal to france but to their original countries and their muslim leaders who call for jihad. It's not just the big riots they had for a couple of months that they couldn't quell, or the fact that they are still burning cars and assaulting innocent people every day, there are whole neighborhoods now that the french police basically have no authority over and can't even enter for fear of being attacked. You think that can't happen here?
Imagine the "rodney king" riots but for 2 months!
You want to talk about Iraq, that's another discussion, and i'm sure we'll have it, but don't forget that our liberation of the Iraqi people didn't PRECEDE 9/11, or the bombing of the trade center the first time, or the bombing of the USS Cole, or the bombings of our embassy's in Africa, or the "Black Hawk Down" Somalia tragedy where they dragged the naked body of one of our pilots through the streets!
We are at war with people who want you to be covered head to toe or else be subject to public beatings and or rape! They want us all to convert or die, they hate us, they hate you even if you defend them. The 9/11 hijackers lived here for quite a while before they attacked, ABLE DANGER knew who they were but couldn't stop them because the Patriot Act didn't exist yet. Do we want to return to that time? Some of these animals live in Detroit Michigan! Personally i'd like to be able to find out who they are and kill them. How about you?
