I saw Andrew Sullivan, a conservative, on Bill Maher the other night. He urged conservatives to vote Democrat or abstain. The Democrats will win the House unless there is massive voter fraud, which I am not ruling out.Already there are reports of voters trying to vote Democrat only to have the machine default to the Republican candidate. Why is it never the other way around? Benjamin Franklin said that we had a Republic if we can keep it. This may be the most crucial election in our history.

Gary, believe it or not, i would abstain from voting myself if i didn't think the consequences would be so bad. I believe that in this case the lesser of 2 evils is the republicans.

It's never the other way around because it's bullshit! They're setting it up already to claim that there was voter fraud just in case they lose, which i believe they will.

I'm thinking about taking that bet, but i'm not sure if i can pay if i lose, and i'm not sure if i want you to pay if i win.

What the hell is a quatloo?

What's a quatloo? Obviously you have not spent as much time watching Star Trek as I have.

From Wikipedia:

The quatloo is a fictionalcurrency that featured in the Star Trek episode "The Gamesters of Triskelion". The currency was used by the disembodied Providers of Triskelion. Having grown bored with their supreme intelligence, "the Providers" were reduced to betting on the outcome of gladiatorial competition between their captives. Wagers were made in quatloos.

At election time they are at their most diabolical but also most transparent as well. We were speaking of disclosure the other day, and official endorsements are about as close as youre gonna get.
