I guess he doesnt consider West Point, The Naval and Air Force Academies, not to mention the numerous ROTC programs across the country a "good" education.

What he should be telling these kids is that if they do go to Iraq to make sure to bring a personal videographer as it will come in handy down the road if they ever decide to run for office.

And Bush is a genius right?

Rhino-itall said...

Warlike, i didn't say Bush was a genius, but they both went to Yale, and Bush got better grades. You can do the math and come to your own conclusions.

Warlike said...

I have. They are both incompetent and asinine!!

Rhino, sure we can do the math but can Bush?

By the way, I see in the news today that Bush is saying that the Democrats approach is that the terrorists win and America loses. Bush can kiss my ass. He is a disgrace.

gary, why r u so insulted? first of all i thought you said you weren't a dem? Secondly, that IS their plan!

Their idea is to cut and run. deny it if you want to, but that's what they want. FACT.

Well Murtha doesnt want to "cut and run" he wants to to combat terrorism in the middle east with a " rapid reaction force redeployment" ........

..........from Okinawa

Somebody give that guy some smelling salts and wake him up.

Actually I favor a "strategic redeployment" of US forces--to Idaho. According to Bush they would follow us here and I like the odds better in Idaho. We'll kick their butts.

Seriously though, it's not a question of if we should leave but when, and how bad the situation has to get before we do.

Gary it's not a question of how bad, but how good! When things are stabalized we should leave, or build a base there from which we can launch our attacks on Iran and syria, but either way, we don't put our tails between our legs and take off just because the enemy didn't pussy out!

gary said...

Yeah, how's that stabilizing project going? Iraq is going to hell, we don't have enough troops to stabilize the situation, and it will only get worse.

And who is the enemy? Al Qaeda to be sure, but they are only a small minority. The Sunni insurgents? The Shiite militias? The Iraq war was a stupid idea, incompetently executed, and doomed to fail, and this is the fault of the Bush administration.

Only a minority? Well Gary there was only 19 of them on 9/11.

Stop fuckin rooting against your country. Even if everything you say is true, and its not, but if it were...shitting on your country isnt going to help the situation.

You are not a part of the solution, you are the problem.

You commies constantly compare to Vietnam, then frickin learn from the past. We were winning there too and classified docs found from the Cong reveal this to be true, but they knew that the American left would force a withdrawal and they only had to hold out until then. They were right.

Fast forward to the notes from Zarqawi saying the same exact thing.

I pray it doesnt take another attack on our soil for you fuckin pinkos to start posturing that you love your country again.

Al Qaeda is our enemy, they attacked us on 9/11 but they were not in Iraq.

In Vietnam there was no way the other side could win as long as we kept hundreds of thousands of troops there but as soon as we left they won. On paper the South Vietnamese surely had one of the best trained and equipped armed forces in the world but any informed observer knew the other side would win shortly after we left. Henry Kissinger knew--he just wanted a "decent interval" before Saigon fell. The Russians asked him how long an interval, he said about a year and a half, and that's what the North Vietnamese gave him. A highly informed observer in S. Vietnam back in 1964, I believe, told one American that the Communists would win in a year to year and a half, unless we put in hundreds of thousands of troops, in which case the Viet Cong wouldn't win until we left.

It is the right that hasn't learned the lessons of Vietnam: no more Vietnams. No more wars that are not essential to US interests. No more wars where we are not wanted. No more wars based on lies.

We have troops all over the world, whats your problem with having them where we can kill our enemies (or are they better served as bouncers for Oktoberfest?). Sounds like smart strategy to me. But then again I am an expert military tactician. You have obviously never played RISK or MTW.
