In accordance with The Aurora's reverence of the hot dog and in continued celebration of Nat'l Hot Dog Month I would like to kindly direct any readers in the tri-state area to pick up todays edition of the NY Post ( I will post article when it becomes available online) I am slightly humbled and a tad bit embarrassed that being the connoisseur of coneys that I am, I actually learned of a few new dog creations I have yet to experience. The Latin Dog. On page 46 in the NYP Tempo (capturing the rhythm of Latin New York) section it lists seven local restaurants serving latino variations of America's greatest culinary creation. First landscaping, then baseball, now hot dogs. As much as I am for the globalization of dogs, we need to re-think our immigration policy. The revolucion will be televised, but you'll have to tune into Telemundo to watch it.

The Perro Mixto - doesn't this sound like a whole lot o' pork. This sgould be on the menu tomorrow at Gitmo...I doubt any of those guys would hate America after that...What a magical animal the pig is!

oh, and by the way, when i first moved to new york, i lived in jackson heights, 76th street, near the roosevelt avenue subway station ... little did i know i was in hot dog heaven ... and there i was, so naive, shopping shopping at the sari shops and filling my cupboards with curry and buying my punjabi porn, totally unaware of the hot dog bounty that surrounded me. that was, of course, prior to my decision to go veggie ...
