Whats worse?
Trent Lott said on Dec. 5, 2002 at Strom Thurmond's 100th birthbay "I want
to say this about my state: When Strom Thurmond ran for president, we voted for
him. We're proud of it. And if the rest of the country had followed our lead, we
wouldn't have had all these problems over all these years, either."
or
Sen J Rockefeller Nov 13, 2005 said on Fox News Sunday
WALLACE: Now, the President never said that Saddam Hussein was an imminent
threat. As you saw, you did say that. If anyone hyped the intelligence, isn't it
Jay Rockefeller?
SEN. ROCKEFELLER: No. The — I mean, this question is asked
a thousand times and I'll be happy to answer it a thousand times. I took a trip
by myself in January of 2002 to Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Syria, and I told each
of the heads of state that it was my view that George Bush had already made up
his mind to go to war against Iraq — that that was a predetermined set course
which had taken shape shortly after 9/11.
The democratic pitbulls (and then later a betraying White House) practically ran Trent out of town and forced him to step down as Majority Leader. Where are the GOP attack dogs on this one. Rockefeller openly admitted that he violated The Logan Act (courtesy of The Captain) and he gets a pass. Liberals always get into a tizzy when you call them un-American, yet they continually choose to err on the side of aiding and abetting the enemy as opposed to their own country. This guy should be hung, or at the very least booted from the Senate Intelligence Committe (intellegence not required). The shareef don't like it, and neither do I.

I wouldn't have caught this either but he should be kicked out of the senate at the very least...this is far worse than anything the office of Dick Chaney has done...This nitwit basically was involved in something that could have sparked WW3 turning our allies against us. And even if he was right which he couldn't have known at the time, what excuse can he have for giving this type of (mis)information to another country(s) leaders. I though it was disturbing when I first heard the interview but the implications have become clearer now...I hope someone has the juice to nail him on this one because he deserves to be humbled to his knees.
And what about the fact that he told syria that we were going to attack saddam a full year before we actually did it? if there was wmd's or a major program, that gave saddam plenty of time to bury or move it to syria, or give or sell the weapons and or technology to other terrorists. Or prepare the resistence, or whatever. He probably cost us lives in this war just by warning syria who certainly warned saddam. the guy should be in jail.
Lewis Libby may or may not have told some reporters about a cia agent who may or may not have been under cover, he's under indictment. A U.S. senator and a member of the intelligence community has admitted to treason and what???? nothing so far. A former national security advisor stole classified documents during a time of war and got a 10k fine, and what??? Where are the balls of the GOP? When will they realize this is a fistfight?
Like Snoop says and I'm not taking this lightly, "ya all betta recognize"...What needs to happen is for someone to bring it up on the floor and publicly embarass him, then maybe it can go further...everytime this guy tries to talk his way out of something he makes things worse. Who know what else he let come spilling out of his filthy little pie hole? I bet more than anyone would want...even his Bush-bashing constituents.
