Mexico still waiting for answers on Fast and Furious gun program

Really?

First of all who gives a sh*t what Mexico is waiting for? I'm still waiting for an explanation from Mexico on why they haven't done anything about the drug cartels on our border. Or why the Mexican government is systematically exporting their poor people to the U.S. etc. etc.

Secondly.... Get in line. Everyone is still waiting or answers and the longer the White House stonewalls the worse it's going to be for them. The media can only cover for them for so long.

Why hasn't the Mexican government done anything about drugs? Probably involvement with the drug trade. Read McCoy's "The Politics of Heroin" for a historical account of our goverment's involvement.

Finally we agree on something.

These drug cartels have a lot of loot. I'm sure they are paying off the Mexican government officials who will take it and intimidating or killing the ones who won't.

that's why I said who gives a shit that the Mexicans want answers. Even if they're not corrupt they're still not taking care of their business and should handle their end before questioning us.

This is what troubles me about the liberal pysche. On one hand they accuse the govt of great evil, but on the other will preach govt as the solution to all our ills.

I mean, seriously, what type of twisted person would entrust our entire health care system, with the same govt responsible for shipping crack cocaine into the inner cities.

Its almost as if liberals have no principles at all.

I agree that we need to be vigilant about our government. However, the fact that parts of the government have been complicit in the drug trade doesn't make me oppose veterans benefits, or Social Security or healthcare reform. We also need to be vigilant about the private sector, including large corporations and government has a role there.

Of course the involvement in the crack crisis, as documented in Gary Webb's book, took place during the administration of the great American hero, Ronald Reagan.
