"When I became the NASA administrator - or before I became the NASA administrator - he charged me with three things. One was he wanted me to help re-inspire children to want to get into science and math, he wanted me to expand our international relationships, and third, and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science...and math and engineering".

We are so far away from the days of Reagan. The days when we believed in American Exceptionalism. When we took pride in shuttle launches and olympic gold medals. When we KNEW we just KNEW we were the greatest country in the world. the "shining city on a hill"
Now we have a president who believes we need to apologize to the world and FUNDAMENTALLY CHANGE our country.
So sad.
OK, it's time for me to unveil my plan. A joint Muslim-American mission to Mars. We have the science and technology. Saudi Arabia and other oil states have the money. Think about it.
Well, it is in the Koran that the Muslim promise land is mars. At least they would finally leave Israel alone.
Shocker! Gary misses the point.
