I'm sure you think that if we don't completely kill our economy we will all be living in that kind of world but you're wrong. Just like all the people in the 70's that were predicting the "population bomb" and the rest of the idiotic things they were saying back then.
Yes, I remember people talking about the population bomb. The population of the planet has about doubled since then and is still rising. This of course has no effect on the environment or energy usage, right?
the population has about doubled and yet the people are not dying of starvation (unless you include n.korea) Our natural resources and energy are still plentiful and relatively inexpensive (would be even less if we could drill) and the world is not in chaos.
The population bomb predicted that all of these things were going to happen and stupid people believed it.
