Time To Dust Off The Hippie

The anti-war movement must be chomping at the bit. Their reason to be has ceased to exist since President George W Bush left office. Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize, the oceans healed and all hostilities around the world stopped on a dime.

But fret you not peaceniks, sabers are rattling once again in Washington. The Secretary of State is calling for military action (you do realize that's what the magical 'no fly zone' means right?) and the Commander in Chief is drawing up battle plans with his pollsters and readying a plan of attack in Libya.

So break out your tie dyes, patchouli, and Bob Dylan albums, because as a thinking man, I would think that the best time to protest a war is before it even starts. Make love not war yeah baby yeah.

I'll see you at the anti-war rally this weekend. There's gonna be one right? Right?

I'd like to think that a position of pacifism would be more principled than to be used as a cheap partisan talking point.

So, I'll see you at the anti-war rally this weekend.
