Conservatism was the philosophy of the Enlightenment? Reagan was the victim of a leftist assassination attempt? I can see why Krugman doesn't read these people.

Christine? Anita?I think he is saying that John Paul II was a world leader. A conservative world leader actually. I don't know much about Vatican politics but I can tell you first hand that it's beautiful. If you've never been there I recommend you go.
