Welcome to the Desert of the REAL

If it was the Wall Street Journal, Investors Business Daily, or the Washington Times the libs could dismiss it by saying it's just a conservative editorial board going after the president. True or not they could get away with it, but when the Washington Post, probably the MOST LIBERAL paper in the country calls out Obama for acting like a dictator EVERYONE has to take notice.

In the middle of it all was Obama -- occupant of an office once informally known as "leader of the free world" -- putting on a clinic for some of the world's greatest dictators in how to circumvent a free press.

The only part of the summit, other than a post-meeting news conference, that was visible to the public was Obama's eight-minute opening statement, which ended with the words: "I'm going to ask that we take a few moments to allow the press to exit before our first session."

Waking up?

Funny, how they escort them out right before they talk. This way, they make up anything they want and tell us all about it!

Usually in official visits and conferences the press is let in for a few minutes for introductory remarks and photographs and then the real work is done behind close doors. I don't see the point of this article.

I am concerned about the trend in recent decades of growing executive power, a trend that only bothers most conservatives during Democratic administrations.

It bothers me no matter who is in office.

Good for you.I respect honest and principled conservatives, even though I generally disagree with them.

gary is such a clown.

for those of you who are paying attention...

The washington times is starting to write stories about a democrat president being like a tin pot dictator.

if you don't get the significance of that then you don't know shit.

Actually it's the Washington Post (might want to fix that).

Thanks gary. All these years of me trying to help you realize the truth and you finally did me a favor back.
