Nothing To See Here....

Move along......

Obama's Science people are kind of whistling past the graveyard on this AGW controversy. They seem to think that just because they have the MSM in their pocket everything will turn out ok.

Unfortunately for them they can't control this message. The global warming myth has been exposed and this genie ain't going back in the bottle.

The data from NASA will be the final nail in the coffin.

That's great and all but there is no way anyone or any data will convince the left that they have been duped. No liberal ever realizes when what they have emotionally invested in for so long is now suddenly a big lie. Unless of course it suits their side of the isle. Like when the left was all up in arms about WMD's and that Bush lied. It's kinda like Scarface in the end sitting at his desk with the pile of coke knowing he was done but something in his head just kept lying to him that it still wasn't over. algore is Scarface.

Yet another example of the rightwing alternative media (Moonie Times) quoting a guy from a rightwing thinktank to challenge the science of global warming. You guys have your own "science" and your own media.

So the NASA data will be the final nail in the coffin of global warming? You know that, even though you haven't seen the data? And is Horner even qualified to evalutate the data? He's a lawyer, according to the CEI website, and a longtime global warming denier.

But for some actual science here's a few stories you may have missed:

From a climate scientist who works for Shell oil:

A good debunking of climate denial nonsense:

http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=seven-answers-to-climate-contrarian-nonsense

On ClimateGate, this is the best evaluation I have seen:

http://www.americanprogress.org/issues/2009/12/ta120309.html

If ClimateGate was a game changer it would have changed someone's mind by now. It doesn't discredit the science of tens of thousands of scientists in dozens of scientific disciplines, as reported in thousands of studies. It simply doesn't, unless you subscribe to an extremely implausible conspiracy theory, which of course you do.

I hope that you can come back with an intelligent reply for a change.

Australia has just voted against legislation. India the same. Flood gates are opening. Game over. Move along, nothing to see here. You lose.

The good news for those of us that are actually interested in the scientific process is that throughout man's history it has always taken the discrediting of the scientific "consensus" before true scientific discovery could take place. Global warming is dead. Now lets get to work actually taking care of the planet from real threats and not imaginary boogeymen used as an excuse to redistribute wealth and tax industry. meaninglessly.

So you are talking about the political "game". You may have a point there and that is unfortunate as GW is real and serious and we will all pay the price if nothing is done, proving ignorance is dangerous and downright stupidity even more so. Yes, I mean you.
