Getlive was wondering in a previous post what could be considered a credible source. I don't know for sure who IS a credible source but I can say I wouldn't trust anyone who stands to make millions of dollars one way or the other.
So if you can't trust the guys who are paid by the coal industry or the oil industry because those industries profit from a specific result, then you also have to dismiss anyone who profits from the "green technology" industry or whatever you want to call it.
Now if you tell me algore can be trusted even though he stands to make BILLIONS off of the "carbon trading" industry I'm telling you you're being naive but at least he's not a scientist and he also doesn't write the legislation. Of course the U.N. IPCC report is the final word that we always get from the left and from which they derive their "consensus" talk. They get their info from the now completely discredited East Anglia gang but I digress.
The author of the IPCC report is Dr Rajendra Pachauri. Now if it was to be determined that this guy is "on the take" then I think in fairness we would have to disqualify the IPCC along with the so called crooked "Exxon" scientists no?

Good job on this on, Rhino. That's where I was headed on my post. I was taking baby steps but you got right into the meat. Where there is money to be made and politics to be had, I trust no information from ANY group pr source. I must use my own intellect and reason to figure it out and I say global warming caused by man is a bunch of BULL SHIT. Once again the left is so emotionally invested in global warming that they don't even see the corruption and special interests that exists on the "green" side. I'm not going to defend Pachauri, who I've never heard of. This story raises questions as to his credibility.

OK, let's not draw any historical parallels. Nothing you have posted draws into question the scientific evidence for AGW. ClimateGate is phony. The number of scientists on your side is getting smaller and smaller. The arctic ice cap is melting, not a claim, or an estimate but a FACT. The Greenland ice cap is melting, a FACT. You have yet to cite ONE peer-reviewed article. Not even that one that was the subject of some of the CRU emails, the one that was so bad half the editorial board resigned, but that you think proves the CONSPIRACY. Really, don't you ever get tired of being wrong and irrelevant?

It's not that there is no evidence. There are thousands of peer-reviewed studies in major scientific journals. And of course the glaciers and ice caps can be and are measured. It's that you ignore all the evidence or dismiss it as part of the plot. You are blinded by a rightwing ideology.
There is zero evidence linking the smidgeon of man's carbon to the recent warming or the current cooling trend. Glaciers and ice caps melting proves nothing except that ice metls, big shocker, you have been unable to provide us any correlation between the two because there is none. None, or you would have linked it here ages ago.
