More Proof of AGW Fraud...

Man Made Global Warming is a complete fraud. I was always pretty sure of this. I believed that the earth was warming but just using common sense and doing a tiny bit of homework I figured out that the earth warms and cools in cycles. It has happened millions of times throughout history and in fact more than once in my lifetime. My argument for more than a decade has been that we are in a warming cycle and eventually it would go the other way. To me it never seemed correct that Co2 could be pollution. Didn't I learn in 5th grade science that the trees need Co2 to grow and that they then produce oxygen?

In other words, in the 5th grade I was already more knowledgable on the environment than our former vice president algore.

Of course I'm not the only person who knew this was a lot of B.S. and in fact many formerly respected scientists have been saying this for years. Of course they were then blackballed by the algores and political hacks at the U.N. Lately I've been reading this guy Vincent Gray and he's had some very interesting things to say.

But only recently did I realize that I had evidence of their fraud in my possession almost from the birth of my interest in the subject.

Well, I'm convinced. Now would you please just notify the polar ice caps that global warming is a fraud so that they can stop melting.

I give you credit for not trotting out one of the well-known climate denial cranks like Fred Singer. You've trotted out a much less well-known crank, a retired coal researcher.

"A search of 22,000 academic journals shows that Gray has never been published in a peer-reviewed journal on the subject of climate change. Gray has published peer-reviewed scientific work on coal with the last article being published 17 years ago."

Nice try though.

Gary still doesn't get it. The peer review and consensus jig is up. The game is over, you've lost. What's funny about this whole thing is not the straw grasping we are now witnessing by the fraudsters and their sheeple like gary is that in a heartbeat once they realize the gig is up they will move on to the next great cause in a heartbeat.

Saying it doesn't make it true. We are dealing here with a half-dozen emails (out of many thousands over a 10-year period) that at most raise a few questions about a few studies. George Monbiot says a few studies should be re-analyzed, although there are innocuous explanations for the emails quoted in the news articles. The most notorious email, the one about the "trick" appears to be non-sinister upon explanation as to which "decline" the scientist wanted to "hide" using the "real temps" (not fake temps). I linked to his explanation, although no doubt you didnt' read it.And of course the East Anglia CRU is only a handful of scientists who produced a very small part of the science behind GW.

Scientifically, there is no "there" there. How much hay the deniers can make of this politically remains to be see. And meanwhile the ice caps are melting and the seas rising.

You will of course not address my points (because I suspect you can't) and may even delete them (for the same reason).

Scientifically

Youre funny Gary.

no gary we're talking about a few dozen that we know about so far.
The "trick" in my opinion isn't the worst one. The worst ones are the ones where they conspire to keep people like Gray out of the peer review journals!

And yet you continue to quote statistics about peer reviewed work and demonize the author.

kind of like if i continually delete your comments and then report that the argument is over because gary isn't qualified to comment here.

Of course in this case it is over but i'll let you continue to comment here and make a fool of yourself because it amuses me.

Exactly Rhino. This runs deeper than just the global warming fraud, this shakes the very foundation of the peer review process which is now supsect on everything.

But it does crack me up that in defense of fraudulent science the greenies resort to using emotional arguments about ice caps and polar bears without citing any actual science. My Christmas present came early this year.

As neither of you have addressed any of my points on this matter I must conclude that you cannot and they are valid.

Donkeyhue said...

You made a point? I havent noticed.

Donkeyhue said...

Oh yeah ice melts, um good one.

gary said...

Are all of today's conservatives idiots, or is it just you two?

Donkeyhue said...

For your sake you better hope its just us two considering that liberals control the WH and Congress and the only things they have accomplished to date are continuation of Bush policies (Iraq and Afgan Wars + Bailouts).

Hope and Change!

"The danger is that global warming may become self-sustaining, if it has not done so already. The melting of the Arctic and Antarctic ice caps reduces the fraction of solar energy reflected back into space, and so increases the temperature further. Climate change may kill off the Amazon and other rain forests, and so eliminate once one of the main ways in which carbon dioxide is removed from the atmosphere. The rise in sea temperature may trigger the release of large quantities of carbon dioxide, trapped as hydrides on the ocean floor. Both these phenomena would increase the greenhouse effect, and so global warming further. We have to reverse global warming urgently, if we still can."

— Professor Stephen Hawking

Hawking is not qualified in this field, therefore his opinion and your comment are irrelevant.

gary said...

Wouldn't that standard make your opinion irrelevant also? And if only the opinions of climate scientists are relevant then anthropogenic global warming is real and serious, as that is the opinion of a large majority of climate scientists.

Donkeyhue said...

1. Its my blog
2. Im more knoweldgeable on this subject that Hawkings
3. The majority of climate scientists are now suspect.
4. Talk til your blue, no laws will be passed on this matter.
5. Game over.
6. Its ok to cry, let it out.

1. true
2. questionable
3. wrong
4. unfortunately it is possible that you are right about this
5. it's not a game
6. ClimateGate is a phony scandal with no staying power.
