Ch Ch Check and Mate Bitches!
The Speaker of the House of Reps is on record as saying that the Dem Health Care Bill is a Christmas gift to America. What about the atheists, Hindus, Moslems and Jews? Doesn't sound very universal to me. More importantly, seems like a clear violation of The Establishment Clause and should render the Dem bill unconstitutional and illegal.

Good morning all. Let me say that I have finally received Hayek's "The Road to Serfdom" and have begun to read it. It will be a while before I produce the promised "book report" but so far I find it a thoughtful and challenging book, so much so that I am suprised that Rhino has read it. More to come.
You'd be even more surprised then to find out that i actually understood it and it's been a major factor in my political views.
When you're done i'll clue you in to some more if you're interested.
in fact maybe we'll make a book reco. Between myself and the donkey we've probably read a thousand books and getlive is in there with like....i don't know 2 maybe 3 books so he's got that going for him.
I look forward to discussing Hayek's book. Have you read his essay "Why I am not a Conservative"?
