Parliament Of Drunken Sailors

"Murtha is called "King Corruption" by Republican reformers, but what happened after midnight Aug. 5 is not a party matter. Democrats and Republicans, as always, locked arms supporting every earmark. It makes no difference that at least seven House members are under investigation by the Justice Department. A bipartisan majority insists on sending taxpayers money to companies in their districts without competitive bidding or public review. "

Republican reformer? The Republicans controlled the White House and Congress for 6 years. Where's the reform? I saw plenty of crime and corruption but no reform.

I wonder if you are aware that this Country is older than six years old.

I beginning to think that you dont and that you just troll for trolling sake.

The more I read about this Flake guy the more I like him although we do not agree on every issue, its apparent to me that Washington needs more men like him.

Hey donkey why didn't the republicans reform everything that was put into place over the 40+ years that the dems controlled congress? They had 6 whole years you know!!!

Anyway, the thing i like about this guy is that he f's with everyone about their bullshit spending and it goes back to the argument with donsky. There's enough money there already and they don't need to raise ANY taxes to improve infrastructure of to alleviate congestion or pay for a war or anything else.

yeah, as if the party of bush and cheney has any credibility when it comes to "competitive bidding or public review."

i won't repeat the oft-shouted tirade against haliburton, brown and root, among many others. but this entire war (not to mention the building/rebuilding of new orleans) has been a gift, a major gratuity, to all of them. including the bushcheneyrumsfeld investment accounts at brown brothers harriman, or wherever.

you guys haven't a leg to stand on when it comes to 'corruption' ... the democrats are babes in that wood. well, that might be a slight exaggeration ...

Did you read the article Anita?

Maybe before you comment next time you should. Unlike you two numbskulls, we arent blind partisans, The Aurora calls bullshit on both sides of the aisle and if you had actually read the article you wouldve seen that it wasnt very flaterring to either side, but like the rabid dogs that you two are you see the word Republican and go into attack mode. Reveals your true colors of an ideology of hate it does.

The both of you make an excellent case for abolishing womens suffrage.

i propose abolishing donkey suffrage.
