Speedballs For Bush

So let me get this straight...

Bong hits for Jesus not protected!

Yayo for Jorge protected?

Like I said in previous conversations, the inconsistency of these most recent SCOTUS rulings troubles me, in fact one could say that it vexes me, I am terribly vexed. In plainer terms its beginning to piss me off.

And theyre actually doing this with a straight face?

Like I always say, never trust a man in a dress and that goes double for Ginsberg.

HUH?

Schools should be able to set limits on speech. Otherwise the kids would go all crazy and do whatever the hell they felt like. In Texas the kids were wearing confederate flag purses and crap. That's just stupid. The bong hit sign kid made the school look unprofessional to a large audience. I am a conservative and believe that kids should behave with decorum at school. They should dress nicely and follow the rules so that others are comfortable and can learn.

The schools do a good enough job making fools of themselves without the kid and its a shame that that case had to make it all the way to the Supreme Court and make a mockery of the court, although they to do a fine enough job of that themselves.

When presented with the option of going bald or face suspension after showing up to school with a mohawk, I shaved my head. No big whoop, and its an idictment on our society that everyone feels they must sue over the smallest of transgressions.

but...

Sometimes its in the small details, so...

While I agree in principle with most of what you said my main problem has been with inconsistency of the recent spate of SCOTUS rulings. Bong hits for Jesus they rule against on the same day they rule for fat cat political donors, and then not a week goes by and they rule that a shirt saying cocaine is protected under the same Constitution that censors bong hits. Theyre running amok I tell ya and I dont like it one bit.

As far as the Confederate flag thing is concerned, I agree. I believe it deserves to be shown more respect than to be worn as an accessory, just as I want to punch people in throat that wear the Stars and Stripes on their Ralph Lipshitz sweaters.

Although easy to villify, the ugliness of the Confederacy's secession and the Civil War were integral to our growth as a nation and a better understanding although long since forgotten of our system of government and the importance of seperation of powers whether it be between the branches or the state and federal levels. I no more blame the Confederate flag for slavery then I do the cotton in the ground.

Uh, the point is, the Confederates lost the Civil War, which, despite silly Democrats who are always saying civil wars can't be won by military means, was won "militarily."

If your side lost there is no point in wearing your dumb loser of a flag. Saying the south gonna rise again, means you sank pretty low in the first place.

Since my family members fought on the winning side, I feel comfortable saying this. We kicked their asses.
