A Dried Up Goliath And A Weasel Named Free

To be clear on this, the onus of the current war in Iraq begins and ends with Saddam Hussein. There can no denying that he either possessed weapons of mass destruction as his refusal to submit to free range UN inspectors and his repeated violations of UN sanctions illustrates.

I could give two shits what any ones opinion is or the media's insistence that there is no smoking gun. Lets let common sense dictate for a moment and look at the facts...

A) We sold Saddam wmds

B) Saddam used wmds before

But the glove didn't fit so we must acquit. As Uncle Walter famously demonstrated regarding the media's wartime coverage..... there is the truth and there is what the media reports. Nice call on the Tet Offensive jackasses, lemme guess you had Dewey winning too.

But all that notwithstanding, my main issue with this war besides the blatant but understandable tactical blunders was the morality police call for the democratization of the Middle East. No one in their right mind can possibly think that is a good thing (see: Hamas fear: Egypt, Pakistan, House of Cards... I mean Saud etc etcetera)

We should be there to kill bad guys to ensure the safety of America and our allies end of story.

However that being said, I may be changing my tune and after some conscience cleansing coming to accept the realization that armed struggle is the only means to ensure freedom from dictatorial or oligarchical tyranny.

On that note....

I am now openly pleading with Stormin' Norman to come out of retirement and stage a military coup on Washington as it is apparent that the the two party system has failed the American people and the self serving back slapping blind eye turning rampant corruption occurring on both sides (even if only reported on one) of the aisle can no longer go unpunished and unfortunately the sheepish electorate brain washed into silly arguments about black and white, roe v wade, straight or gay and jennifer or angelina continue to elect them so therefore have lost that right says me.

Oh, Fee, you're trying to live a life
That's completely free
You want to stay with Milly
Until you're dead
But you just got a bottle
Upside your head

Junta-Aw!!!

Traitor!

Well the main difference would be that I am actually rooting for my Country but yes if a call for a more representitive government and an actual civically minded responsible media makes me a traitor then guilty as charged.

.... and thankfully for the 2nd Amend I wont be unprepared, although I will probably have to upgrade from my 1954 55# fiberglass Bear Grizzly Recurve.

Whats your address again?

Actually, aren't you advocating overthrowing representative government and replacing it with a military dictatorship? That is how I would read your call for a military coup.

That is exactly what I am advocating. If I recall correctly, our first President was a revolutionry General, so I've always got that going for me. That being precedence.

Thank god the hippies havent been able to get their hands on the 2nd Amend so Ill be prepared, but I should probably upgrade the ol' 1954 55# Bear Grizzly recurve.

Now I am confused. In your first comment you said that you wanted a "more representative government". Now you want a military dictatorship? At present we have an imperfect representative democracy. How would a dictatorship be an improvement, unless, as George Bush said, you were the dictator.

Washington and the other Founders fought a revolution against tyranny to establish a democratic republic. You seem to want to overthrow a democratic republic by force of arms to establish a tyranny. That is not conservatism--that's fascism.

You give yourself too much credit.

At any rate, I have reported you to the Department of Homeland Security for advocating the violent overthrow of the US government. I hear the weather is nice in Guantanamo this time of year.

Its Cuba. The weather is always nice, and I could think of worse things than three hots and a cot in the Caribbean. Give me a chance to visit my children and catch up on some reading.
