Mars Melt Hints at Solar, Not Human, Cause for Warming, Scientist Says

Simultaneous warming on Earth and Mars suggests that our planet's recent climate changes have a natural—and not a human-induced—cause, according to one scientist's controversial theory.
Earth is currently experiencing rapid warming, which the vast majority of climate scientists says is due to humans pumping huge amounts of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. (Get an overview: "Global Warming Fast Facts".)
Mars, too, appears to be enjoying more mild and balmy temperatures.
In 2005 data from NASA's Mars Global Surveyor and Odyssey missions revealed that the carbon dioxide "ice caps" near Mars's south pole had been diminishing for three summers in a row.
Habibullo Abdussamatov, head of space research at St. Petersburg's Pulkovo Astronomical Observatory in Russia, says the Mars data is evidence that the current global warming on Earth is being caused by changes in the sun.

When I got up this morning there was this bright glowing orb in the sky. I was understandably dazed and confused unsure of what could be going on...but then my wife reminded me that it was the sun. I tend to forget things when I don't see them for a month or so...

That's what I mean by the scientific consensus. So, maybe now you will stop denying there is a consensus.Dissenting scientists should and do have their say.
The article then goes on to refute that point, but I no longer expect you to grasp concepts that dont fit your ideology.

Actually the article goes on to say that the opinion of this lone scientists is at odd with most other scientists.
"His views are completely at odds with the mainstream scientific opinion," said Colin Wilson, a planetary physicist at England's Oxford University.
Ok thats fine, he is a "skeptic" afterall.

Or you can be a man, engage in honest debate and attempt to explain why Mars is also experienceing an extremely similar warming cycle as Earth.
In other words refute the point or pipe down.

You are aware that the direct effect of these "wobbles".....

I've never denied it, I just tend to accept the judgement of most scientists that the cause of the current warming is mostly manmade.
The minority view could conceivably be right, as I have said before, but then it might be wrong, wouldn't you agree?

There were 17,000 American scientists that signed the petition that i posted some time back. 2500+ who were uniquely qualified to speak on this subject and all certified to not being paid by big oil. You still have not addressed this. Why?.........
That petition was kind of a joke. Anyone could go on the web and sign up. Most of the 17,000 were not in fields related to climate change, or had not done work in that area. Some were M.D.s.
