McCain or Guiliani?

How about : None Of The Above.

The Aurorans's are big fans of Rudy, and we would take Mccain over the current crop of democrats running for president, but at this stage of the game we are giving our endorsement to the author of the following resolution which was presented on the floor of the house on November 18 2005.

"Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that the deployment of United States forces in Iraq be terminated immediately.
Resolved, That it is the sense of the House of Representatives that the deployment of United States forces in Iraq be terminated immediately."

This resolution was in response to the call for surrender by John (nancy's boy) Murtha, and was soundly defeated 403-3.

The author is of course none other than Rep. Duncan Hunter (R) from California. You may remember him from a favorable mention he received from the Aurora when he authored the border fence bill, and that's not all....

"Hunter is a hawkish, former Vietnam veteran who "served in the
173rd Airborne and 75th Army Rangers" and earned a Bronze Star. His son also served two tours in Iraq as a Marine, so we're talking about a guy who has had "skin in the game" over in Mesopotamia. Additionally, Hunter served on the House Armed Services Committee and rose to the rank of Chairman before the Democrat takeover in 2006. "

Continued

....Donkey concurs, and believes that the one area where the Aurora disagree regarding Rep. Hunter is his greatest strength. His position that "fair" trade agreements such as NAFTA, CAFTA etc are no such thing...and need to be scrapped not "fixed". I dont believe in the welfare state for the individual and I certainly oppose it for trading partners. Give America a level playing field and we'll win every time.

I'd like to see Duncan Hunter vs. Al Gore. Give the public a choice.

I would LOVE to see that matchup, but even if gore was running he could NEVER win the dem nomination. He committed the cardinal sin for liberals... he showed his true colors. He's a pussy, he's a liar, and he's an idiot, as are most on the left but they are smart enough to keep it hidden until they get elected.

I think Gore has a shot at not only the nomination but winning the WH, sad as that is to admit. As PJB has been saying..its a lock that he wins the Oscar and the ensuing publicity blitz will get him back in the spotlight in a major way. The dems have run Kerry and Dukakis in the past, Rhino you give them too much credit.

How is Gore a pussy, a liar an an idiot? I know he wouldn't get your vote but I think he would be a formidable candidate.

not to mention the fact that 'algore' has been nominated for a nobel peace prize. he's far from a pussy, liar and idiot.

rhino, you are being like the bully kid in the school playground.

anita and gary. He's a pussy because he's a pussy. He's a liar because he said:

Nobody is interested in solutions if they don't think there's a problem. Given that starting point, I believe it is appropriate to have an over-representation of factual presentations on how dangerous (global warming) is, as a predicate for opening up the audience to listen to what the solutions are, and how hopeful it is that we are going to solve this crisis." -- Al Gore

He's an idiot because he admits that he's lying which just begs the question:

What else has he lied about because he felt it was important enough?

Also, the nobel peace prize is a JOKE. past recipients include jimmy (hate the jews) carter, as well as (known terrorist)Yassir arafat, Kofi(what genocide i'm busy stealing oil money)annan, and of course the U.N.(i'll sell you this 12yr old girl for a five spot)"peace keepers"
