My fellow Auroran recently levelled the accusation (among many) that Al Gore is a liar. To which our left leaning readership were aghast. Al Gore a liar??? -- but he loves the environment, it cant be true, he has the moral high ground and that this certainly must be the dastardly work of the VRWC (aka the TRUTH)
For this argument I will avoid the subject Global Warming as it has already become a no-win debate. Just as arguing against affirmative action means youre a racist or abortion makes you a misogynist...liberals are too emotional to be rational on this issue. Hey, I love the environment (whats not to love) and even in my advancing age am still active on numerous conservation projects -- yet in the eyes of the left....Im a seal clubber because I doubt the motives, the science, and the proposed "cures" for this "problem".

Communist China were some of the largest contributors. Fact.
Al Gore lied about attending a campaign fund raiser at a Buddhist Temple. Fact.
Communist China received U.S. military trade secrets in exchange. Fact.
As head of the U.S. Export Policy for Encryption Technology. Al Gore was directly responsible for this. Fact.
A day after giving Clinton/Gore a $100,000 donation, RSA Security (and commie front company) received a massive government contract at the behest of Al Gore to manufacture electronic computer security cards. These cards were made in factories owned by People's Liberation Army. Fact.
Almost all chips were found to posses "backdoor" and "trojan" programs. Fact.
Al Gore pressured McDonnel Douglas to violate export laws and sell Communist China a factory that manufactured intercontinental ballistic missiles (but the Chinese said they'd use it for "civilian" purposes). Fact.

Communist China was exempted from the Kyoto Protocol authored by Al Gore. Fact.
Al Gore has lied about all of the above. Fact.
But it did not end when he left office....
Google is denied entry into Communist China's market. Fact.
Al Gore is named to the board of Google. Fact.
Google is granted access to the Chinese market under strict Communist control and censorship. Fact.
Al Gore is now a billionaire (give or take a few hundo) because of his Google stock ownership. Fact.

I am emotional on global warming to the extent that I feel strongly that we should do something about it. I believe in the reality of manmade global warming because of strong scientific evidence. As in the massive international scientific report just released. As in statements by the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the National Academy of Science, the Royal Society, etc, etc. I do not see how all the scientific evidence can be dismissed unless on an emotional basis.
As to your alleged facts on Al Gore, it would be easier to evaluate them if you had provided any evidence to support them. Saying that Gore is a Communist is idiotic.

Im curious to know what you were doing from 1992 - 2000...all this stuff has been covered. Its not smear its fact...deal with it. Clinton / Gore were in Lincolns bed with Red China...its not a secret...just under reported.
As for the Salon article it only acquits him (barely) of the Temple incident which were by all accounts the most innocent of his transgressions and very well could have been a mistake...but he did lie about it afterwords.
That being said...thats the least of my concern. "Selling" military secrets for donations is what concerns me. His involvement in the censorship of billions of Chinese citizens to make a buck for Google is worrisome (and I openly admit, the level if any of his involvement is unknown at this time)

Our trade relationship with China is dangerously one-sided and Im not saying its entirely Clinton/Gores fault as it goes back further and still continues to this day...but the level of complicity and impropriety by Clinton/ Gore were indeed borderline treasonous.
I have done some reading on China-gate but is's been a few years. I read your link: "one year of probation, 500 hours of community service, a $10,000 fine" for Johnny Chung. Must have been a real serious crime!
I know that Chung has said he received some $360,000 from Chinese military intelligence, and that $35,000 of that went to the DMC, and some $20,000 of that went to Clinton's campaign. Do you think a President would commit treason for a lousy $20,000? I've seen no evidence that Clinton (or Gore) even knew about this money, much less where it came from.
If Clinton was willing to commit treason for money, he could have collected MILLIONS directly from China.

For the record I opposed the Chao nomination as political correctness gone awry. I still do. At the least her fathers business dealings present a conflict of interest and even worse she is an unrepentent commie sympathize. The upside is that one of the first things GW did in office was renew and enfore the Export Administration Act preventing the sale of sensitive military applicable technology as Clinton / Gore did.
As I mentioned in a prior comment in no way do I think that ClintonGore have been the only ones with shady dealing with China or other adversaries but they took it to a whole new level and literally sold out our National Security for campaign donations...and a ClintonGore White House will do it again and that is why they must be stopped.

Barring that, we take the side of the lesser evil which currently is the republican party. Almost all of these people are self serving scumbags, but the ones on the right side of the aisle happen to lie in our favor.
Um yeah. Theres a pretty big frickin difference between selling China military technology and allowing them to steal nuclear secrets without going punished and a country whose main export is sweaters.
