Donkey No Understand*

Ok let me get this straight.
Lets assume that Iraq is indeed the single most important issue facing our country today.

1. Hillary is the only "pro-war" candidate for the Dem nom

2. The Democrat Party bills itself as the "anti-war" party

3. Hillary is leading by wide margins in ALL polls

HUH?
Look like we've got ourselves a bit of an enigmatic scenario on our hands. If one is true then mustn't the other two be false?

Ive got my own theories, but I figured that since this place is infested with Phil Mickelsons Id open up the floor to my loyal libs and others to hear what they have to say about this seemingly contradictory to dem dogma situation.

* a no prize goes to the correct answer for the inspiration of this title

It's still early and Hillary has name recognition and lots of money. Just wait until Al Gore gets into the race.

I dont think that Hillary will be the nom either but this just proves to me mathematically that a good portion of dems are hypocritical frauds.

If...

80% disapprove of the war

50% endorse Hillary

Then at a minimum...

30% are full of shit.

However, I suspect that the actual number is much higher.

It's easy. Hillary can stretch further than Elastigirl in the Incredibles. She can tailor each speech for a specific audience (and you know what I'm talkin' 'bout!). This early on, her separate positions haven't irrevocably collided, and she has a whole stable of focus groupers and word smashers to craft the position de jour. She's unlikely to commit a face-plant as obvious as Obama's "wasted lives", so if she can just Janus herself long enough to torpedo Obama and Edwards, no matter what she says eventually, who's going to knock her off: Chris Dodd?

Well I tend to agree with Gary thats it going to be a Gore/Obama ticket.

i hope gary is correct and we have a gore/obama ticket.

Dont be too happy. That ticket can win, and a Gore/Edwards tix would be even stronger...sad as that is to admit. DOnt underestimate the stupidity of an electorate in an American Idol starfucking society.

I think Gore's going to have a hard time re-expanding his horizons enough to address a full presidential run. He's become so focused on global warming he's actually slipped into delusion. He literally said "If I had been elected President, Hurricane Katrina would not have happened." Yea, and King Canute actually stopped the tides. Not credible. But, then again, that may not mean not electale by the Dems.

gore obama could NOT get elected.

The star fuckers don't vote.
