I predicted weeks ago that the Democrats would not actually do anything about the surge plan. First a firmly worded letter, followed by a nonbinding resolution.If they actually did anything, say cut funding, then Bush would be able to blame the inevitable disaster in Iraq on the Dems. Now it will all be on Bush, although the troops and the Iraqi people will pay the real price.
If Iraq is so important why not come up with a plan that has some chance of success?
