A man of immense integrity and a class act through and through. Some of our more recent ex-Presidents would be well served to live and learn from the example set by the late President Gerald R Ford.
At least he was able to live long enough to see his alma mater U of M defeat Notre Dame one last time but it seems the corruption of the BCS which denied Michigan a shot at a championship was too much to bear for his fragile ticker.
So in the immortal words of the great 80's anti-commie film Red Dawn I will close my eulogy with .....
WOLVERINES!!!!!!!

Anyway. R.I.P Mr. President.
I would've thought that you would have commented more on President Ford's physique, Rhino? He sure did have some nice pecs back in the day.
Anyway, quoting Spies Like Us...I just don't know what to say to that...
Class obit. Love the photo. Real class.
From Richard Valeriani in Huffington Post:
If it hadn't been for Chevy Chase, Gerald Ford would have been elected President in his own right in 1976.
That's what I believe. I was an NBC News correspondent at the time, and I covered some of that campaign. And I believe it was Chase's portrayal of Ford on Saturday Night Live as a bumbling, fumbling clown that had as much to do with his defeat as anything else...
am i crazy, or does this blog now have a sound track?
Both.
thank you zontar.
