Sway Or Sensationalize

You tell me.

The slimes is now saying this administration, by the slimes account the most secretive administration since the dawn of man, yeah that administration has now revealed too much information. This is the same slimes that hasnt met a secret that it hasnt passed along to al-qaeda in a love note in the back row of class. Yeah that frickin slimes. You know the same slimes that believes that the public, and when I say public I mean terrorists, the public's right to know is as important as the public's, when I say public I mean innocent civilians, the public's right to not be blown up by suicide bombers. They force the Republicans hand by demanding full disclosure and then at the first alleged slip up they trash them. Its not just media bias at its worst. Its not just personal views affecting reporting, its treason for treasons sake

Now defend them you commies. Tell me how this is different. Tell me you wont hurt me again. Tell me next time will be different. Tell me how all I really want is someone to hold me and tell me everything is going to be alright. Tell me how the New York slimes is not the militant propoganda wing of the democratic party. This is bullshit. They cant handle the truth and they dont want it. They are hell bent on destroying a Presidency and dont care if they take down a country with it.

I assume you are referring to the story in the news today that the Bush adminstration put technical how-to plans for nuclear weapons on the internet. To the best of my recollection the Times never published nuclear secrets. If you can't see the difference between the Times publishing that chart showing that Iraq is heading toward chaos (big secret) and plans for the Bomb, well that would explain why you are a Republican, I guess.

...and if you cant see the difference in their selectivity in revealing secrets that explains why you are a jackass. Tell me honestly, if democrat senators had asked for those documents to be released do you really think that this story would see the light of day at the slimes?

I know this is off topic, but does anyone NOT think that kieth overbite is crazy?
I understand he's a lib, but being that it's supposed to be a news show shouldn't he at least TRY to appear objective?

Actually, I'm taking this to the message board.

Yes, the Times does have a "selectivity" in what they publish. I believe their standard would be that they would not publish something that would genuinly damage national security, such as A-bomb secrets. They did publish the Pentagon Papers, to their great credit. And let's drop the name-calling Donkey.

Hey Donk--you are sounding more and more like a zealot everyday. I agree the press is very prejudice with what they print--but you have to admit that Dubya is the kind of kid that doesnt even need any help hurting himself.

I will drink my coffee and be content to see that the fellas have already chewed on your ass flap.

Donkey, you are so freakin crazy that I choose to see these posts as parody.

And clearly, you did NOT stay in your Holiday Inn Express last night. You sound like a talk radio nightmare today. Are you channeling WFAN too? Whats the score?

A Donkey with PMS. A first. Ee-aw where's my midol...

i will respond for the donkey, because i'm pretty sure he took the afternoon to go see "Borat"

warlike, shut up!

lily, shut up hippie!

gary(zontar) sorry about the name calling..... jackass.... just kidding.... but not really!

The Times are wrong. Just because its "different" from another case of their bullshit or that you think Bush is a jackass doesnt invalidate the point that you seem to once again fail to address. The Times are trying to sway an election today they will try again tommorrow and the next just as they did in every past election year that I can recall. They are not a newspaper. They are the mouthpiece of the Democratic party and its dangerous.

If it was the other way you people would be in a frenzy. Thats the problem with liberals its only one way with you and that is why facts mean nothing to you and interpretations are paramount so that if something doesnt fit into your ideology you can adjust the meaning to fit your politics and justify your defense of the indefensible.

Lily you are a fucking parody. Let me ask you when is the last time any of your blogs attacked a Democrat? Exactly. So shut your pie hole. I humor you because I think its cute that you think you are on my level. Now run along to one of your little meetings or rally or bakesale.

Borat was hilarious.

Donkey, let's say you are right about the Times, that they are the left-wing equivalent of Fox News, always trying to help the Republicans, etc. (Although they sure helped Bush in the run up to the war.) What do you think should be done about it?

Anonymous said...

Well Gary I was planning on having a buddy get me into their construction site for their new HQ and take a dirt in the foundation. But Im afraid they would misinterpret my meaning.

Rhino-itall said...

Gary, you need to give it up with the Fox news comparison. First of all, fox gives equal voice to both sides. Yes they are more conservative than every other news program in the U.S. but that really doesn't mean anything since every other station is crazy liberal!

gary said...

The New York Times slants to the left. Fox slants to the right. Both make some effort toward objectivity and balance. I think the Times does a better job of it actually, but that's just my opinion. Free Speech. Freedom of the Press. It's a good thing.

Rhino-itall said...

Gary, fox news has about 3 news programs that get a fraction of the viewers that the networks get, the networks get their stories from the newspapers, especially the times!
The point that donkey is making is that the times is trying, and has been trying (with some success in the past) to sway the elections. It's not objective reporting, it's propoganda. They're not supposed to be the anti- rush limbaugh, they're supposed to be objective. OR, they should just come out and declare their agenda like rush does.

Gary you miss the point. I dont give a shit that they are leftist propoganda, nothing slant about it. My problem lies with a journalistic entity trying to affect policy, sway elections and undermine the government of The United States of America. Their job is to report the news not create it.

And Rhino is right, enough with the Fox comaprison, its just one cable network out of many liberal that has... what two three actual traditional news programs, the rest are opinion fluff crap that could slant for the cannibal party as far as I care.

This is why we need a REAL independent party.

and what about the Aurora Paper of Record: Investor's Business Daily?

what about The Wall Street Journal --- Peggy Noonan anyone?

anita said...

and I agree with Elizabeth Branford ... the Donkey is starting to more like a zealot every day.

Anonymous said...

WL,

We need TWO new parties. The Dems are the most fucked up so we deal with them first.

Anita,

You leave Peggy out of this. I love that woman.

Anita,

Warlike called me a zealot. Lily called me a menstruating crazy parody.

Cant you liberals ever get the facts straight, or are interpretating again?

anita said...
