STATEMENT BY MELANIE MORGAN, CHAIR – MOVE AMERICA FORWARD
“Your non-apology is not accepted, Senator Kerry.
“John Kerry has done it again! He has sunk to a new low by managing to insult the American people and members of the United States military in his issuance of a non-apology. Rather then apologizing for the hurtful words he used, he instead says he regrets that his words were misinterpreted? [Source: Kerry statement, “I sincerely regret that my words were misinterpreted…” ]
“So apparently it is the fault of the American public, news media and the men and women of the United States Military for not being smart enough to understand what Senator Kerry meant to say?
“The American public understands what he really said. There is no mistaking his contempt for our troops. He has a long history of name-calling, and now he refuses to apologize for his conduct. Instead he says it’s all our fault.
“Shame on you, Senator Kerry.”

I just finished reading "Ghengis Khan" by Jack Weatherford and I think Kerry owes "Jengis", his family, and the whole of Mongolia an apology as well.
John Kerry is yesterday's news. Let it go.
Maybe you should follow your own advice Gary. How are your conspiracy blogs going? The JFK assassination, that is yesterdays news. Let it go. Kerry is current.
The Kennedy assassination was a matter of historical importance. The Kerry tempest-in-a-teapot will not make the history books. Should people stop writing books about the Civil War?
According to you, yes. The Civil War is last century's news. Admit it. When its a dem problem then you want to move on, when its GOP its all day every day. Your politics expose you as a fraud and a phony and your partisan hackery shameful.
I'm just trying to help you Republicans. I think this whole Kerry flap may backfire. Kerry is not on the ballet, and Democratic candidates can distance himself from him. Republicans are kind of stuck with Bush.
My prediction: Democrats take the House, at least.
Anything less than a sweep will be a failure for the democrats. My guess is that best case they fall miserably short of historical average oppositon party gains in a sixth year election and embarass themselves, worst case they fail to retake either house and cease to be relevant. Taking both is unachievable... thanks to Michael Steeles victory in Maryland (who Chris Matthews tonight let slip he does not intend to vote for)
My hope is obviously for the latter, as I have a conservative revolution planned for the Republican party once the Dems self destruct.
Self destruct? Let's just call it snooker. Kerry is a pretty good soldier who just put the 8-ball (Dick Cheney) in front of the pocket. You know where it's going.
