Algore Hates The Solar System

Yeah thats right I said it. Algore hates the solar system. Now I dont know this for certain, but logic dictates that he must. Seeing that he is so gung-ho about global warming then what up with Mars. By all accounts Mars is experiencing their own "global warming" as indicated by the melting of their ice caps. Could it be that algore has no love for our interplanetary brothers and sisters, or is it that proof of a temperature change on Mars would refute his ascertation that man and his damn dirty SUV's and factories are alone to blame for any perceived threat of "global warming" on planet Earth.

I as well think the imminent threat of anti-climatic global disaster is hogwash but if in fact temperatures are rising and I had to blame it on something, gotta blame it on something...my guess would not be the rain but rather the sun and then would have to subscribe to the neo-classic Nelly school of thought when he once stated " Its getting hot in huuuure, so take off all your clothes"

Those freakin martians and their hummers! I mean i know it's rough terrain and everything, but can't they ride bicycles or something? Wait do martians breathe out CO2? You guys know that when you breathe you're killing the planet right?

Maybe with your breath you are. What did a cat shit on your tongue or something? You should trying gargling with gasoline.

Whoever said that human activity was the only factor? Earth went through an Ice Age and came out of it long ago, and now this may be happening on Mars.

No one can deny that CO2 levels on Earth are rising rapidly, and that human activity is the primary cause. Most scientists believe that this should and does contribute substantially to global warming.

I would rather base policy on science rather than your guesses.

There are a small number of global warming skeptics in the scientific community, and the should and have had their say. However, the National Academy of Science, and similar bodies in most other nations, recognize global warming as a real problem.

Rightwing idealogues will never be persuades by the scientific evidence, just as many of them do not believe in Evolution.

Zontar, you kill your whole argument with the evolution bullshit since it has already been debunked by real scientists, and me.

Rhino, once again you perfectly illustrate my point. You don't believe in global warming or evolution. Evolution has not been debunked by "real scientists." It just hasn't. There are a small number of fringe scientists who, under the influence of fundamentalist religious belief, deny evolution. Otherwise evolution is about as well-established as anything can be in the world of science.

Zontar, i didn't say i didn't believe in global warming. That's real science. If the earth is warmer it's warmer. Fact is fact. I disagree with the ideas for changing it, or if we can change it at all.

Evolution is not fact, it's theory. It is not science. In fact it is practically a religion itself.

Stephen J. Gould put it this way:

"Well evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape-like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

just say it rhino...why don't you blame this one on the muslims

Actually i do blame it on the muslims.

Zontar, i'm thinking we've been over this already, and i don't have time to go over it again. But have a great weekend.

and you too gd.

You have a good weekend too. Unfortunately, I am on California time. so mine doesn't start yet.

and a good weekend to you too...

btw, i may have to stop coming by this blog if you don't remove that picture of bolton on the sidebar.

he's the anti-sexy

I call Bolton "The Moustache". I wish it would catch on...I think he is butt-ugly-cute. Like an Ewok.

But I wanted to see if anyone here knows where I can put in a request for Algore to jet his Gulf Stream up my way? Seems the kids want a WHITE Christmas and all, and seeing as how cool weather follows him to all those Global Warming Conferences...

Funny how that works huh. When he came to NYC we had the worst snow storm in recent years the night of his speech. Brilliant! If I ran a ski lodge Id hire him as a consultant.

Actually, a little research shows that Mars' ice caps melt because of the planet's seasonal climate changes.
