So many people have pointed out that Democrats offer no alternative policies that this can no longer be just an oversight on the Democrats' part.
It is a calculated strategy, assuming that continuous second-guessing and denunciation of the Bush administration will undermine the Republicans enough in the eyes of the public to win the Democrats enough votes to take control of the House of Representatives this year and control of the White House in 2008.

Its crazy. Take Iraq for example, their number one (out of two) issue (followed closely by, Foley is a "flamer" homosexual pederast) No democrats will reveal their plan for "strategic redeployment" until after they take control. Gary, i do believe that's what they think. That's why they won't win. I've been saying for months already that the dems will not win a majority in either the house or the senate, and they won't win the whitehouse.
The economy is booming, unemployment is at historic lows, the dems have already said they'll raise taxes, and they are complete losers when it comes to homeland security.
they have a sex scandal to hang their hat on, that's it....... what else do they have?????

The Democrats will win unless one (or both) of two things happen:
1) Something big happens--Osama captured, Bush attacks Iran, a major terrorist event. Something that will totally change the political dynamics. Most likely: Bush attacks Iran.
2) Massive vote fraud.There will be vote fraud (as in 2000 and 2004) but not sure if they can steal enough votes.
Neither of these can be ruled out.

I am not a Democrat, and this is the reason. I may lean left, even worked for Dems back in the city...but I think they need to earn their "rank and file".
If Repubs would just get off their moral kick and stop pandering to their wingutty base, many more Dems might even jump ship.
