Since when have the Democrats ever insisted a politician be held accountable for a sex scandal involving a staffer, let alone the politician’s party leaders? Take Senator Durbin. Did he vote on any impeachment counts against President Clinton for perjury or obstruction of justice over Clinton’s sexual relations with intern Monica Lewinsky?
And what about Clinton himself?
In 2001, President Clinton, who had his own intern problem, commuted the prison sentence of Illinois Rep. Mel Reynolds, who had sex with a 16-year-old campaign volunteer and pressured her to lie about it. (Reynolds also was convicted of campaign spending violations.)

Seems like a pattern. Dems get caught they fight tooth and nail to hold onto power and their base supports them regardless. GOP get caught, the either step down, are forced out by fellow GOP's, or are voted out by their base. Obviously there are exceptions to the rule, but by and large that pattern holds true.
As far as the dem base is concerned, well they are just irrational maniacs. Conservatives have no problem throwing their own to the curb, but the dems are so power hungry and morally bankrupt that the letter besides a persons name is all that matters.
True. the outrage is only for the party. Clearly nancy pelosi doesn't give a shit about young boys and old men since she's a huge supporter of the ACLU which, as we all know, is a staunch defender of nambla, and is also trying to crush the boyscouts because they don't want gay scout masters.
Also, if they truly cared about the children they would be attacking the media outlets that sat on this story for at least 6 months while a potential child predator was still in a position of influence over young people.
They expose themselves to be hypocrites at every turn, and the shocking thing to me is that the public, and the compliant media fail to expose or reject them.
