Ich Bin Ein Border Stupido

Ive noticed that during debates about the border wall a recurring theme keeps popping up from the left. Not one to brings facts into the liberal fantasy hallmark card catchphrase ideology cuz I know how much dem hippies love them their German references, so I hate to be the bearer of bad news but...

Berlin Wall: Keep people in.

USA Border: Keep people out.

Feel free to leave anytime.

The Fence is an election year stunt. They're not going to actually build it.

holy shit, i think i agree with gary for the first time ever!

I hope we're both wrong, but at this point i'm saying to Bush and co. SHOW ME, DON'T TELL ME!

They will be forced to build it eventually...too many people want it.

But I also agree with the assessment of the lack of sincerity on this administrations part regarding illegal immigration. Last time I checked the 6000 Nat'l Guard troops Bush promised in May have yet to arrive at the border. He has failed miserably on this very imprtant issue.

Dead Kennedys- thats fitting.

You should go troll at Making Conservatives Cringe Blog- those guys are military and they write about the NG issue and what happened when they were sent.

My understanding is that the problem with border control is that they cannot get enough qualified officers to get through the academy, which requires testing and Spanish language proficiency. The military isn't helpful in that respect either. (I hear rhino blaming teachers unions, somewhere in NY)

Maybe they need to do what they usually do- lower the bar of expectations to solve problems.

Or, since we are on the subject of germany. Get the bilingual German kids to come protect our borders. Clearly they can learn two, three, four languages and still have time to behave like socialists.

"Spanish language proficiency"

Get the fuck out of here. Heres my Spanish class for the Border Patrol....

Adios Amigos!

Then load the illegal immigrants in a truck and send them back. This is a difficult problem with a simple solution. We dont need special officers with bilingual sensitivity training...we need a show of force through numbers and a wall.

Damn teachers unions!

What the hell is that? Hieroglyphics?

I think I read the following joke on your site DB...

What do you call someone who speaks four languages: quadrilingual

What do you call someone who speaks three languages: trilingual

What do you call someone who speaks two languages: bilingual

What do you call someone who speaks only one language: American

Seriously...What the hell did you say?

Unless of course you are in disagreement with me, then no translation is required as I know its a load of crrap (Scottish translation for crap)

Bamboo is the new "it" wood for fences (and flooring).

So, you guys are the investment guru's, shall I invest in this company, or no? Bamboo futures anyone?

that's funny, because i am having new hardwood floors put in my great room right now and i was thinking about the bamboo. I went in a different direction, but i the bamboo was nice, and relatively inexpensive.

My sister and her husband have bamboo in their backyard as fencing but its actual bamboo trees. Ill tell ya those things are mofos to dig up. I helped my bro-in-law put in a horseshoe pit and the roots from the bamboo trees were everywhere and damn near impossible to dig up...even twenty some odd feet from the fence.

interesting. i'm buying a house up in beacon, ny and need to put up a fence. bamboo trees sound like a great idea as protection against the elements ---houligans and roughians and the like.

i'll have to discuss this with my gardener. or my landscape guy. or the pool stud muffin.

whatever.

Its definitely good against the elements but as far as houligans and roughians are concerned its yet to stop me from crashing their parties.

Next time Im over Ill take a picture for you. Its pretty cool.
