Rewriting History

If you wonder why it took 50 years to get the truth about Joe McCarthy, consider the fanatical campaign of the Clinton acolytes to kill an ABC movie that relies on the 9/11 Commission Report, which whitewashed only 90 percent of Clinton's cowardice and incompetence in the face of terrorism, rather than 100 percent.

I have no interest in Ann Coulter's attempt to rewrite history. The truth about Joe McCarthy, by the way, was that he was reckless and unprincipled, and couldn't find a Communist in Moscow Square on May Day. Read "A Conspiracy So Immense," praised by Patrick Buchannan.

And I'm sure making up defamatory Albright sequences really advances the cause of truth seeking. Oh- thats right, its part of the "artistic" freedom.

The 9/11 report was a joke! I'm surprised at you. You need a smack with the get-real stick.

And I think we're all safer debating what Clinton did eight years ago as opposed to what Bush is NOT doing now.

Is Clinton bashing all you people have? Its like the only way you can defend a President that even the right has to suppress a smirk about.

Your own dont even like him just as we dont like Lieberman. For pete's sake would you guys stop degrading yourselves to whore for the Ass Commander!

In case you havent noticed, we bash everyone here, its what we do. I know how much it pains you, the mere mention of Bubba The Clown's name, but to implement plans for the future its paramount to understand the past.

Now shut your frickin pie hole hippie!

I didn't watch the movie because i don't think it's important to point fingers at this point, plus it's too big of an event in my opinion to make up ANYTHING about it. But the fact still remains that it's mostly true.
I just reprint coulter because she's a genius, and because i know how much you libs can't stand her.

By the way, you're wrong, we do like him. We don't like everything about him, but more than 50% of the country's votes went to him in the last election.

You don't like leiberman, i don't really like him either but i like his stance on national security, and that's the most important issue in our country right now and that's also why he'll be re elected.

You are right about one thing (there had to be one.) I can't stand Ann Coulter--not because I disagree with her but because she routinely describes people she doesn't like or agree with politically as traitors and suggests they should be arrested or killed. Believe me, I would condemn a liberal columnist who did the same. She is not the only offendor on the right but she is perhaps the worst.

So thats your argument against Coulter....shes mean? Now Gary its not like we expect more from you as we dont but would a little effort kill you.

Why not go thru her article and point out how her article is erroneous. Is it because you cant so you have to resort to personally attacking her and not her argument?

...and whats with the the Dems getting all indignant all of a sudden at President George W Bush's reference to WWII, Hitler, and Nazism in his speech the other night...isnt that what theyve been doing for the last six years? So let me get this right...calling Bush a nazi is acceptable to the left but comparing the terrorist threats to nazism is no good?

I have never called Bush and Nazi and do not approve of those who do. My complaint about Coulter is not that she's "mean" but that she basically calls liberals traitors who should be arrested or killed.

As for the factual inaccuracies in her books and columns, they are too numerous to mention.

I personally think she IS mean. And ugly. And bitter.

And you guys used to be funny. You were able to laugh at yourselves as well as others.

But something seems to have changed. Ann Coulter playing a fabulous rhetorical game. And she knows she's wrong, but she's only along for the ride because she's making a mint.

You guys, unfortunately, seem to take her seriously. Which is sad to see.

A commenter Kelso's Nuts left this on my site a while back:

"Ann Coulter doesn't believe a word of what she says. From good sources -- left-wing dudes who party with her -- she's a great shit. Lots of fun to hang out with. What she does is schtick. O'Reilly and Hannitty really believe and Rush Limbaugh sort of believes. "

Rhino-itall said...

Oh well if kelso says it, then it must be true!

anita, sorry if we're not as fun as we used to be. I still make fun of myself quite often, maybe i should do it here.

I disagree with both of you about coulter, i think she might be mean, but i don't think she's disingenuous(sp?)

I also don't think she knows she's wrong, and in fact i think she's right. She doesn't say all liberals are traitors, just the traitors. I agree with her.

Kelso may be a little quirky, but he's very bright, and he doesn't make stuff like that up.

gary said...

So, which liberals are traitors?

Rhino-itall said...

anita, kelso is telling gary something 3rd hand about ann coulter, AND he portends to know what oreilly hannity and rush are about too?

He speaks like he's an authority on the habits and beliefs of people he doesn't know from some "left wing dudes"?

I will tell you WHY it's bullshit, and i can tell you this for a FACT.
If coulter was out partying with "left wing dudes" and if it was KNOWN that she was just bullshitting and didn't believe what she said, she would have been exposed a long time ago. There are too many people who hate her for that kind of info to NOT hit the media/blogosphere. Our ONLY source for this information is a kelso's "left wing dudes"

You can do the math by yourself i think.

gary, i don't know which one's are traitors for sure, but i think kerry, murtha, and their ilk are all traitors. In fact, i KNOW kerry is a traitor because he LIED to congress during the winter soldier hearings and told wild stories about his fellow countrymen committing atrocities in the field that never happened. He also went to paris and MET WITH THE ENEMY during war time.(TREASON) So i'll start with him, and of course Hanoi Jane Fonda. I don't think you need for me to explain how she got her name.

So there's 2 easy one's just off the top of my head.

You didn't like that one? Ok, how about this:

In 1968, the ACLU successfully argued against state bans on interracial marriage, in the case of Loving vs. Virginia.
