I guess after his recent sitdown with the hard hitting journalist Keith Olbermann and his thought provoking questions such as "Mr President. How does it feel being awesome?" Clinton wasnt prepared for a real interview. In a way its surprising, considering that the one thing that could always be said of Clinton even by his detractors was that he is a master politician and not easily treated like a James Bond martini. But DANG SON! You done flipped out and gone off the deep end.
Asking Clinton about his response or in this case his lack thereof against terrorist attacks on our country and our interests is as valid a question as the ones asked by those who now oppose the manner in which President George W Bush is conducting the war on terror. You would think that by now Clinton would have some sort of an answer.

All the old standards are back. The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, Rupert Murdoch, Fox News, and Karl Rove. But my favorites are the soon to be classic "We didnt even know Al-Qaeda existed" , "I have never criticized the current President" and "Read the book!". This is a man unhinged. A man with a guilty conscience. Me thinketh Bubba doth protest too much. He has more excuses than a cheating husband caught with lipstick on his dipstick. You could say that the ex-Emperor has been caught without his clothes (and there isnt even an intern around)
Note to liberals: Just let this one go. I know its in your blood, the need to defend Clinton, but trust me let this one go. No matter how many "Bubba doesnt take any crap" and "boy did he really tell that smirking thing Wallace off" rebuttals you attempt will not change the fact that your boy went loco. And this should also answer your charge as to why Republicans wont let Clinton go. BECAUSE HE WONT LET US. Trust me when I say this, nothing would give us greater pleasure than to let him disappear into the obscurity of history, but the guy just cant keep his mouth shut. Someone give the guy a "legacy" already so we dont have to put up with his Vision Quest to find one. Yeah, well the problem is...I aint even Indian man!

The manner in which she plagiarized my own words against me, coupled with her avoidance of the issue and use of personal attacks as a diversionary tactic was a stroke of brilliance.
You know I was thinking the same thing and was writing a post about it, but I guess Slate beat me to the punch.
He has changed the direction of the discussion. Its no longer about what he did or didnt do as President, but its all about how hes fighting mad at osama, ABC, Fox news and Wallace. All of a sudden hes a tough guy, and the sad thing is people will fall for it.
Its amazing what a complete scumbag he is trying to re-write history right before our eyes, but you gotta admit...the guy is good.
If that involves a mohel, count me out.
