COMMENT: You are absolutely right that the Democrats are not going to pick up anything better than a seat of two at best and Iraq will not be a winner for them. Until they learn to agree to disagree on things and then agree to really stick the knife in, they ain't winnin' doggie-do. That probably runs counter to your "hate" theory, but by Kelso's lights the Democrats have to "Cowboy-Up" a little, pull together, and hit hard. Comprosmise and the middle and Karl Rove have shown that the sensible middle is for crap.
Question #1) Does your blog name refer to the building on 3rd Avenue just north of Sarge's Deli?
Question #2) Nady for R Hernandez and O L Perez? And Ollie goes to the minors? Isn't the idea to use this cushion to invent a 4th and 5th starter. Furthermore, Feliciano and Oliver have been excellent lefties out of the pen, did they really need Robert Hernandez and his gas-operated wheelchair, expecially when Heilman is blowing up and Sanchez is done. To trade Nady for a speculative starter and a lights-out right-handed long-guy like Linebrink was the way go.
Question #3) Does Willie Randolph have a sub-normal IQ or does it just seem that way?
