Promises Promises

On Sunday, John Kerry said of Israel's war against Hezbollah, "If I was president, this wouldn't have happened," adding, "we have to destroy Hezbollah." But wait a minute — Hezbollah didn't attack us on 9/11! Wouldn't fighting Hezbollah distract us from the urgent task of finding Osama bin Laden? Democrats can't come out and admit that they refuse to fight any war in defense of America, so they utter the "Where's Osama?" incantation to pretend that they'd be doing something. To wit: dedicating the entire resources of the U.S. military to locating Osama bin Laden. Thus, in the third presidential debate, Kerry complained about the cost of the war in Iraq, saying the war was "the result of this president taking his eye off of Osama bin Laden." After making the capture of Osama bin Laden their sole objective in the war on terrorism, now Democrats expect us to believe they would have been fighting every other Muslim jihadist on the planet like mad — just not one of the main sponsors of Islamic terrorism, Saddam Hussein. But they'd be merciless with every other mass-murdering, Islamic terror-sponsoring lunatic.

Once again the libs show that their one and only platform is going against Bush.

For a goof he should hold a press conference, step up to the podium and announce...BLACK

How long before the dems say WHITE?

Maybe if Bush wasn't such a moron! If we liberals really hated America we'd vote Republican.

yeah. for a goof. heh.

i feel sorry for you guys having to defend your man bush. it must take your ego down a notch just about every single day.

loyalty is a bitch, ain't it?

Therein lies another major difference between conservatives and commies. When Bush is wrong on something we here at The Aurora will and have called him out on it. The democrats are the party of the blind yellow dogs. Take Hillary for example, how many anti-war libs are going to vote for her. Answer: Most if not all.

Rememember it was us conservatives that handed Bubba the White House WITHOUT a majority of the vote.

Now put that in your peace pipe and...

You're obviously not paying attention. I'm going to have to start calling you a knee-jerk Republican.

Hilary's support within the "progressive" element of the Democratic party has been steadily diminishing over the years. This is because of her support of the war, as well as because her pandering to the Republican right wing.

of course she's supporting the war, because like her husband she'll say anything to get elected even though she doesn't mean it.

I don't blindly defend the W. I also don't blindly criticize. He's a man of conviction, that's something i can relate to and respect even though i don't always agree with his positions.

More to the point, this post isn't intended to be a defense of the president, it's simply pointing out how full of shit the left really is, and it did so very convincingly.

Call me what you want Anita. As its apparent your grasp on this topic is lacking and are unable to debate on merits.

Support and voter turnout are two different animals completely. Mr Hillary experienced stellar support and high approval ratings yet was still unable to crack 50% of the popular votes during both elections.

My feeling with Hillary is that the opposite will occur as the code pink peacenik commie crowd will condemn her for her support of the war and other right wing pandering (aka anything you disagree with)yet she will probably exceed her total votes total in her re-election.

I couldve saved some time by just saying BLACK and waited for you to say white.

Time will tell but I can assure that I will once again be proven right.

the fact that The Aurora continues to be part of the sad, sorry "ann coulter lapdog contingent" tells me that 1) your grasp on the trends of mainstream american political thinking is sorely lacking and 2) your cognitive abilities have been decimated to the point where you are unable to discern a thoughtful argument from the ravings of a fringe lunatic.

Rhino-itall said...

So anita, you're saying that you disagree with ann here?

did you read the article? what points would you say she's wrong on? do you have anything to say or just jibberish insults?

Please Anita tell us what is your thoughtful argument?

Anita, you go girl!

I wish I could say I was disappointed with the direction your comments have taken, but alas I am not. I have come to expect this non sensical finger pointing name calling rhetoric from the left.

Lets recap

I address the erroroneous logic in your statements that the GOP are more blindly loyal than the hippie party by pointing out Hillary's
astronomical lead in the polls for her senate re-election despite holding a very unpopular war position. I then go on to state how it was the conservative abandonment of BushI that handed Bubba the Presidency.

You call me a knee jerk republican.

I reiterate my point by forecasting a Hillary landslide (do you disagree) in her senate bid.

You call us "ann coulter lapdog contingent" and recycle my "grasp lacking" comment call us the raving lunatic fringe ( I know youre out there)

...and THAT is why I generally refrain from discussing politics with women.

WL that may very well be the stupidest thing youve said yet, and youve said alot of stupid things.

Number one, it incorrectly perpetuates the myth that the democrats are the party of the poor, whereas the truth of the matter is that the welfare state policies of liberals have failed the poor and has imprisoned them in a gerbil wheel of poverty.

Secondly I will echo Rhino's sentiment. Im broke and it aint no joke.

Drinks on you biotch.
