Who-less? That's great!

George Clooney said that it was difficult making his movie Good Night and Good Luck because so many people had read your book, Treason, which exposed the truth about Soviet agents in the U.S. government and exonerated Sen. Joseph McCarthy. What impact do you hope Godless will have on the political scene and people’s misconceptions about evolution?

"I would like evolution to join the roster of other discredited religions, like the Cargo Cult of the South Pacific. Practitioners of Cargo Cult believed that manufactured products were created by ancestral spirits, and if they imitated what they had seen the white man do, they could cause airplanes to appear out of the sky, bringing valuable cargo like radios and TVs. So they constructed “airport towers” out of bamboo and “headphones” out of coconuts and waited for the airplanes to come with the cargo. It may sound silly, but in defense of the Cargo Cult, they did not wait as long for evidence supporting their theory as the Darwinists have waited for evidence supporting theirs."

Is Coulter actually stupid enough to believe this stuff or is she just pandering? I don't know which is worse. The creationists are actually closer to the Cargo Cult mentality, it seems to me. These people confuse religion and science. They think the bibilical creation account is science, and evolution is religion.

I think I will defer to Senator Frank Lautenberg of New Jersey, who states: "Her bookselling antics and accompanying vulgarity deserve our deepest contempt."

Guys it's a theory! It is not a fact. Just because all the scientists agree doesn't mean it's true!

Again i'll use the flat earth theory as an example. All the scientists of that era said the earth was flat! they also said that the sun rotated around the earth!

My problem with evolution is simple, there is NO proof of a missing link in ANY species! We find whole dinosaur skeletons and shit, and anyone who found a missing link by the way would be rich and famous beyond our imagination but still no one can find ANYTHING to prove this theory. And who came up with this theory? Why do we believe in the religion of darwin?
I'm not a religious person, and i'm not even saying i DON'T believe in evolution, i'm just saying that unlike you guys i am open minded to the fact that it could be wrong.

You know what, scratch that i AM saying i don't believe in evolution, i'm saying i don't necessarily believe in creationism. But again i'm open minded. And why are these our only 2 choices? All these years no one has come up with any other possibility?
Maybe because we're indoctrinated from a very young age to believe in evolution so no one cares to challenge it. It's not FACT, it's not 2+2=4

Ben maybe YOU are misunderstanding ME.

Proof is what i'm looking for, not opinions of scientists. Darwinism claims that life was made from non life, yet this has never been done by a scientist anywhere in the world in any lab anywhere. Darwinism claims that we are desceded from apes, yet we have found NO fossils of the "missing link".
You believe in the religion of Darwin and you laugh at the people who believe in intelligent design.
I don't believe in the religion of darwin, and i'm not sure about the rest.
I'm not playing semantics with the word "theory", i'm saying that there is NO PROOF that i have ever seen or read about that has shown me that darwin is correct. NONE. So that's a nice "theory" but just like global warming could be caused by me driving my car or it could just be a natural occurance there is no proof, and therefore i will keep an open mind.

Here's a theory: Perhaps Michelle Malkin and Ann Coulter were driven to talk the way they do by growing up in a heavy metal environment. Since metal, or Deep Tracks, more or less came into being during the 70s, its all very new.

Metal takes the concept of going out to war, and brings it home instead, in a very specifically pacific step in the "evolution of Western thought", and from personal experience I know it can be very difficult for young men and women to come to grips with the Jimi Hendrix sponsored realities of the end of Manifest Destiny.

I Think I am biting off more than I can chew here.

There is another possibility especially since the Judas Gospels have made headlines.

That what is created as man, image of God, is almost metaphorical and a spiritual form not physical. This form was always present (creation) but its manifestation was delayed as man struggled to biologically become more representative of his inner form. Over time man came to "evolve" as scientific evidence suggests but inwardly has always been the same since day one.

Judas was supposedly able to see a different realm of humanity and understand life on a different level, but it needed to be dumbed down for people to understand. SOME people believe that the writings like the Judas Gospels are suggestive of the notion that many ideas were simplified but that the bible held clues to this.
I am not at all saying I believe this. I am just saying that in this way of thinking, both evolutiona nd creationism are oddly compatible. if one were to talk about a physical and spiritual version of man.
