I wouldnt exactly call it a man crush, but I understand your line of thinking as someone that used to roll around with other dudes in leotards.
However I will say this. I have followed him for almost half my life starting with when he used to tee off on that worm Kinsley on Crossfire when I was in high school. I do find PJB to be very intelligent, articulate, humorous, from a good family with an impressive Nixon and Reagan political pedigree. Ok what the hell Id throw him a bang.
i too was a fan of the crossfire PJB, he was a mentor of sorts for me. I would like to say however for the record that i would NOT throw him or his sister a bang.
But you just said you had a Mancrush on him ... doesn't that imply ... throwing him a bang (or a bone)? Although, I'm sure you're aware that he's highly homophobic. If you catch him at the wrong moment, he just might rebuff you. And hurt your feelings. And it's obvious what a sensitive soul you are.

These guys (maybe Coulter could)today couldnt hold a candle to Sununu or Buchanan, even Kinsley for that matter who was always wrong but would debate valiantly in a losing battle against superior adversaries.
There is no such thing as compassionate conservatism. Conservativism implies allowing market forces to weed out the theoretical strong from the weak. Unfortunately, that is the law of the jungle, but it is not the law of the land. Conservatism needs a strong counter-balance against its inherent excesses that harm the social structure.
And I liked cross fire too. I thought Kinsley kicked ass. He still does, well. Sometimes. When he takes off that plaid shirt.
