I am a troglodyte. Troll is so monosyllabic. Trolls are harmless. Think about it, any creature that can be beaten by a billy goat in a battle of wits, that frequents front lawns, or does p.r. work for an online travel agency cant be that threatening. The reason this comes up is that recently I have joined Rhino in his sport of choice, debating the scissorly challenged (I was getting tired of constantly beating up on him in our in house rows), and the accusations of being "trolls" came up. Now being rather new to the wonderful world of algore's internet community, I yahoo'd the term and was shocked and awed by what I read.In Internet terminology, a troll is a person who posts rude or offensive messages on the Internet, such as on online discussion forums
Moi? Rude or offensive?. Gosh dangit Im rude and offensive, but this is ridonkulous. People on both sides have become so isolated in their own hallmark idealologies that any dissenting opinion is censored. That is why we here at The Aurora have an open door policy to all comers (heck half of our team are pinko commie bastards) and that is why we applaud Lily at Lose The Noose. It seems some of their readers have called for the deletion of our comments, and showing true courage of conviction they have opted to keep their forum open. Kudos LTN, we may not agree on much, but y'all run a class act over there on the left. Everybody can learn something from someone, and certainly everybody can learn from me (Im here everyday serving up lessons to suckas free of charge)

You're probably being called a troll by people like enigma4ever (Alex Cummings-a female) that runs the watergatesummer.blogspot.com/ site. If you ever post something onto one of her friends' websites that opposes their point of view, she will "politely" call you names and try to intimidate you. Then she will defend her stance by stating she's a strong woman. She's a propaganda mooch so to speak. Never having anything positive to say or solutions to provide. Don't give up on 'em. The truth will prevail.

My stance never changes...I want smaller government & more growth...something the Republicans used to stand for...I am becoming more and more of an anarchist because no one represents the little guy anymore. I do have some left leaning views on legal issues but not on political issues...the two shouldn't be so intertwined in my opinion but it is just that...my opinion. I'm not an enigma wrapped in a blanket but people are allowed to feel differently about differing subject matter without being pigeon held as Democrat or Republican...that is the inherent problem with talking about politics. Someone always thinks their right and that means that you (the universal you) are usually wrong just for speaking with them...oh, and if I inadvertantly gave you a "shout out" I apologize...I don't want to affiliate my self with some sort of commie pinko donkey lover! Well I do appreciate your comments, fellas, on this. I'm not sure what people expect from the internet but like I stated at my blog- if people want to restrict others, they might consider a 'members only' forum. Now I am not a perfect pinko, I have a mixed bag of views and despite the fact that you might paint me as a government-hugger, I am pretty far from it. I am typically left, but only where I am convinced. I am not easily convinced of anything. I try to avoid emotional positions. I also agree that many whine but offer little, and do little. Thats true of everything maybe.
Look, I can't be responsible for people that want to insulate themselves. Or what others do in blogarama. I'm not sure what 'twilight troll' sees as insincere. All I can say is that I listen to all views and can't get into the business of deleting whatever I don't like. Should I delete TP for being Pro-life since many on there are not? Should I delete bad spellers? Call every Republican a troll? Where does it end?
It never ends hopefully...and I'm glad. Life would get boring. Peace out Lily, you are a cool bird.
