The Forgotten Presidents

Technically speaking, the first POTUS was Thomas McKean, born of Irish parents (although jaffa bastards). Thats right, the first man to be officially referred to as President of the United States was a donkey (he made up for his fathers past transgressions against Irish Catholics by opposing the Brits) EE-Aw!!! The job he, as well as the other fourteen men that held that position in various titles and incarnations of The Continental Congress was no less pivotal in the formation of this great Country of ours than the "official forty-three"

So heres a shout out to those piker Presidents of the past.

Served as the President of the First Continental Congress:
Peyton Randolph
Henry Middleton

Served as the President of the Second Continental Congress:
Peyton Randolph (2nd Term)
John Hancock
Henry Laurens
John Jay
Samuel Huntington

Served as President of the United States in Congress Assembled:
Samuel Huntington (2nd Term)
Thomas McKean
John Hanson
Elias Boudinot
Thomas Mifflin
Richard Henry Lee
John Hancock (2nd Term)
Nathaniel Gorham
Arthur St. Clair
Cyrus Griffin

Then clink your glasses clink
'Tis a toast for all to drink
And let every voice join in the chorus
For America is our home
And wherever we may roam
We'll be true to the dear land that bore us.
