Allah Gore

Seriously, this is getting a little old. Cant this group of ex-presidents (and losers) just start robbing banks and hanging ten already. Looks like alla abdul gore is following jimmy crack peanut's lead by gunning for a nobel anti american prize to mask his failed political career by pandering to the enemy and making the jihadSPN top ten highlight reel with this doozy...

Former Vice President Al Gore told a mainly Saudi audience on Sunday that the U.S. government committed "terrible abuses" against Arabs after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, and that most Americans did not support such treatment cont'd

Hey big bay al...how bout what those "arabs" did to us on 9/11? Wasnt that a 'terrible abuse' as well? Apparently to you and your teammates on the washed up brokeback dem dream team (bubba, jawn "jenga" kherry, and peanuts) because the only time you reference it is to attack the current administration for

A) Failing to stop it

B) Failing in the "planning" to avenge it

All the while you criticize and compromise current strategies to prevent another attack. Thank God we didnt have men like you in our past wars (correction: thank God men like you didnt have the modern media machine to provide an international platform of redundancy redemption in past wars) Didnt you guys have a plan? The Country is still waiting to hear it.

If not, as Rocky told Bugs...Shut up Shuttin' up

What can i say? It's so disgusting, i'm sick. can anyone explain to me why an ex vice president would pander to these people? what does he hope to gain? what good will it do for his country? what effect does he think this will have? Is he intentionally hurting his country for his own political gain? I don't want to believe that, but what else can i think?

Maybe we can arrange a hunting trip between Dick "ooops I shot you in the face" Cheney & Al "I'm not dead yet" Gore...

you are not much better...you may not be bringing 9/11 up, but you sure make up for it by bringing up "God"...

Gadfly,

I see that you are acquainted with my beloved Rhinoculous whom I've had the pleasure of reading lately. In fact, it seems he left a comment about liberal bloggers making him feel smart, to which I responded with my hopes that he might pursue more tangible forms of validation in his social sphere. We all hold the ontological vocation of rhinoculi in such high regard.

Certainly you would not begrudge Gore the free speech that you enjoy? I think that engagement with our government and political processes on EITHER side of the aisle is hardly something to question. Indeed if we had more people participating, we might be able to solve actual problems and implement actual plans.

What we have now is a whole shitload of taxation, and a whole lot of bureaucracy- but little that serves the public interest.

Thank you Gadfly for coming by, as I am intellectually secure enough to accept the fact that not everyone thinks the same as I do, I'm not threatened by that reality. You might consider helping rhinoculous understand this, and if your words fail you, lend him some Paine and Jefferson.

The gadfly as a metaphor has quite a rich legacy. I'm quite certain that blind obedience by the populace to the propaganda of self serving leaders does not constitute the 'questioning' and critical nature of it.

I don't begrudge anyone anything...in fact, I am constantly bating arguments here and elsewhere...I just think it's funny that Dick Cheney shot someone in the face and wanted to mention it...My problem is not Dem's & Rep's but bad humor that often offends people...In regards to Rhino, he indulges all types (he is never wrong although he'll entertain all comers...he'll even dance with the devil in the pale moonlight or so I've heard) and he needs not my defense or derision...my moniker or the Gadfly is to question but also to agree when I feel right meets might which is an allusion to your boot...so no harm no foul...unless you are a fowl and Dick Cheney has just shot someone in the face while he was aiming at you.

Easy GD dont take everything so literally, when I smash my thumb with a hammer and loudly proclaim "God damn it", I can assure you my intentions are not the eternal damnation of aforementioned tool...Its just an expression. I do hope you get my drift though, that Gore and Co are buffoons, and while in agreement with Lily that he is entitled to his opinion, in my arrogant opinion I think he would be better off either vocalizing how he would/could do better, expressing himself on the side of Americans, or by Shuttin' Up as opposed to the usual democratic pander/slander modus operandi.

And you are also wrong GD about the fountains in hell. The third level used to serve tequila, but now thanks to new management levels five thru seven are providing Tullamore Dew for upper management. As far as me going downtown to hadestown is concerned, Ive got a corner office with A/C waiting for me. Evil has its privelages.

hey lily, i'm not sure what "ontological vocation of rhinoculi" means, but i'm going to assume it's a compliment because you're a woman, and chicks dig me.

Cant recall seeing you around here before Lily, so if thats the case...Welcome to The Aurora. We look forward to your input.

Gadfly-

You find the shooting of a man in the damn face to be humorous? Hm. Maybe there's hope for us yet.Oh. Wait. I'm a pacifist. Dammit.

Isn't the sixth rung of hell reserved for heresy, those that damn tools and such?

Seriously, the boot is a joke about a Toby Keith song, I am a card carrying liberal. (commence sneering now)

Finished?

I met Rhinoculous at Coalition For A Republican Free America. I'm not very memorable.

As 'The Wedding Crashers' proved Lily...getting shot with buckshot whilst quayl(e) hunting is indeed quite humorous, as is midnight rapes, gay art shows and maple syrup.

Mookie McFly said...

Toby Keith is my hero...but I've read your blog before and I know the origin as well as your comment policy...similar policy here except potty mouth is frowned upon...however it is perfectly okay to speak about shooting someone in the face...which we all try to do at least once a week. We find it helps us relax.

You know donkey you're right that was really funny! Lily you are memorable, and welcome here. Oh and by the way, as for this guy getting shot in the face, lets all remember one thing........ He's a lawyer, so it's not all bad

I have a comment policy? Hmm. I guess I don't read my own memo's.

Yes, I admit its funny. Yeah, yeah, its funny. I have to go eat my granola now. Potty mouth? HMM. There's a problem. I don't use profanity in real life, but thats no help here.

Catch you in a few days.

I'm a liberal. I don't agree with most of what Gore said in Saudi. But what is worse, saying stupid things to saudis, or having Saudis bail you out of your failing business, and holding your hand as you traipse across the Whitehouse lawn?

Lew Scannon said...

Well, shouldn't the Bush administration be criticized for failing to stop the 9/11 attacks (the first of a string of many failures that have defined the Bush presidency) instead of trying to fix the blame on Bill Clinton. Suck it up, be a man and take responsibility!

LOC,

Answer: Saying stupid things to Saudis

Anonymous said...

Lew,

I expected more from you. Weak!

EE-Aw

Rhino-itall said...

LOC, You don't agree with most of what he said because it's
1. not true
2. could be treason
3. just downright disgusting
During the 2000 election, i thought Gore kind of got a bad rap because he was in the Clinton administration. I never agreed with his politics, but thought he was probably a good guy, I thought he cared about America. The crazy lawsuits made me think twice, but i let it go because i'm a sore loser myself, and he was really really close. But since then, he has made me change my mind completely. Everything from screwing over Leiberman(great American) to his constant rhetoric attacking W. to no end except to make America look bad. In the tough times, the true person reveals itself, and for Gore, that is an ugly, bitter, self.

Warlike said...

Leiberman is a great American? How so?Please explain.
Could it be because he tows the line?

Rhino-itall said...

yes, that's exactly it warlike.... or maybe it's because he doesn't toe the line. His party hates him because he shows his courage, and his patriotism by not putting partisan politics ahead of what he thinks it right for his country. To me, that makes him a great American.

Warlike said...

He's a fag who wants to be president-he's a politician. But he will never get in the whitehouse-he's jewish. i know how he feels.
