That's what I'm saying

Except i can't say it too good. So here's what i think i mean.

"But now, America faces a crossroads. Since the death of the Soviet Union, we areunquestionably the world's only superpower, the world's remaining empire.Acquiring an empire requires a different mindset than maintaining and expandingone. Empires either decline or they grow. If America is to survive and flourish,Americans must realize that empire isn't a choice: It's a duty"

Yo, my boy Ben Shapiro is wicked smart...He was 17 when he was hired as a syndicated columnist...'nuff said. As for the polls, it is apparent that people are displeased with the way the war is going...but unlike Ben, I don't think you can be dismissive about it. The people are supposed to have a say (no taxation without representation). He is right that we must stay and fight...but a new strategy wouldn't hurt.

We can be a democratic republic or an empire but not both. Already our civil liberties are being threatened. The government is spying on Quakers, Catholic Workers, and Vegans, for god's sake.

Why don't we just appoint Bush Emperor and be done with it?
