Do the Dems stand for anything, besides being anti-Dubya? Pelosi has already admitted the Dems wont "offer a unified stand on Iraq". At least they're finally able agree on something, even if its that they dont have a plan, and if they did they wouldnt talk about it. As the saying goes, "if you isnt a part of the solution you be a part of the problem"
Now Harry Reid issues a statement questioning President George W Bush's sunday night speech before the actual speech. Huh? Since when did the Amazing Kreskin join the Senate? Would it kill ya to join Teddy K at the bar until your Commander In Chief was done addressing the nation, or are petty politics more important you jackass.
On a more serious note. Dubya, I love ya bro, good speech man, I support ya the whole way but if you ever pre-empt The Family Guy again...we got problems

Yeah, the pre-emptive rebuttal speech is is worse than the 2 seconds after the speech rebuttal.
I always found it funny that these guys come out immediately after the president is done and try to claim it's a reaction to what the pres. says. How can you be reacting that quickly? didn't you want to think about it? obviously these speeches are pre written, but now they're not even trying to trick us.
Perhaps a pre-pre-speech by a leading Republican would be a good idea next time...And since I have DVR, I can avoid speeches all together (and watch Family Guy whenever I want)and just read the Aurora for my misinformation.
PS - I'm just kidding...It's Christmas week and I'm a little giddy about what Santa might bring this year!
