War hero loses his nerve
John Murtha thinks we should cut and run. He's a war hero, thank you for your service John Murtha. Now lets remember the war that you fought in. Lets think back and realize why we didn't prevail in Vietnam. Was it the military superiority of the great Vietnamese army? Ummm no, it was the politicians, press, and hippies at home who dodged the draft and then turned the public against the war. They called the U.S. soldiers baby killers, and gave false testimony at the "winter soldier" conference. They spit on heroes like John Murtha. So we lost our nerve, we pulled out the troops, and what was the result? Well among other things, tens of thousands of South Vietnamese people were slaughtered. Where are those hippies now? Oh yeah, they're in congress, running the democratic party. Is it any wonder that they want to run? And if we leave, how does that make us safer? Mr. Murtha was wrong when he said we couldn't win this war back in May of 2004, and he's wrong now.

But but but but but but John Kerry would have made a great president!!!
You gotta love the brass ones on Liz Sidoti (member of Kerry's press corp) to label Murtha "hawkish" on this issue. His military background is not in question he served honorably and heroically, but he is now calling for surrender and that sounds very "dovey" to me. Mind you, Benedict Arnold is not remembered for his heroics at Ft. Ticonderoga or Saratoga but for his betrayal of his country when it needed his leadership most and the Revolution was all but lost.
Kerry was one of the many ignoramus idiots who came home and said (lied) that US soldiers were baby killers and rapists to Congress. And what did he get out of it...A job he has had ever since being a lazy sack.
